Heritage Hall had a large dining area, but there were no separate units for Alzheimer's patients. It was like a hospital. I toured the facility recently. My mom was there years ago, and it had changed dramatically. They had a fitness center. They take Medicaid patients.

If my mother-in-law was bedridden or had more physical issues, she would have fit in at Heritage Hall. It was a pretty good place and seemed clean. She has a little bit of dementia, but she can walk around and do things that I can do. They would've taken care of her there, but there wouldn't have been many other people for her to talk to that would walk around too because most people there were bedridden.
