My uncle spent a month in rehab at Shenandoah Valley Health and Rehab. If there was a no-star rating, they would get that. He did not get baths, they let him lay in dirty clothing, and he did not get up for therapy day. He was in a shared room and the place was not cleaned every day. There are other people whose families spoke of things that happened while we were there. They were not very good either so it's not a good place. They just didn't take care of the nurses they had. He was lying in the same clothes for days and his face hadn't even been wiped off because he's not able to do stuff himself. I do not recommend this place.

My father stayed at Golden LivingCenters for a period of time. The nurse that I tried to talk with actually told me she didn’t know whether my father’s power of attorney’s paper work. I said, "Don’t you have access to the chart because you are a nurse," and she looked and said it wasn’t there. She acted like it was none of her business. They have some good activities but it’s very expensive and more expensive if you don’t have Medicaid
