My mother-in-law has moved into Ashford Assisted Living & Memory Care. We like the location. It was close to where we live. So that was one advantage it had over the others. The facility was extremely nice. The prices for their memory care (which is what we needed) are a little bit better, and there were not as many add-ons. A lot of the places we looked at had a lot of add-on pricing for different services that they need. It was all-inclusive at Ashford. They have a very nice facility, particularly in memory care. They have a big room for crafts and activities that they do. They have several activities every day. They have an outdoor garden that they can go to. It has the appearance of a very new building. They have very nice communal areas. Those were the kind of things that we like the most about it. It's very well taken care of and very clean. They stay on top of keeping the rooms up and keeping them nice. The common areas are all extremely well-kept. The staff has been extremely friendly. We've enjoyed the way they've treated my mother-in-law there.

We went to Ashford Assisted Living and Memory Care. One of the things we like about it is that we have a son and his family who live in Springville and who would find it convenient to visit more frequently there than many other places. So that's a big plus to have a family fairly near at hand. The building itself seemed very light and airy. However, we were not particularly impressed with the food with the one small meal that we had there. The rooms are not priced the same way many others are in terms of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. They have a suite, but they don't claim to be able to accommodate so many beds. Everything they offer comes with an additional charge. There were no smells. It's a pretty new facility, and it has more staff. Unfortunately, the hospital is somewhat more distant. That is, it would take you 15 minutes to get to the hospital.

My parents-in-law have been residents at Ashford Assisted Living and Memory Care for 9 months now. It is a very friendly atmosphere with the staff and the residents. There are lots of activities that they offer every week. They will take them to the doctor. They do lots of field trips. All of them like the food. They invite the family to certain events that they're hosting. On Mother's Day, they did a Mother's Day Tea Party, and the desserts were very, very cool. They went all out to make it super cool. They have the little emergency necklaces that they wear that they can push at any time. One time, my dad thought he was sick, so he pushed his button and within 3 minutes, there was a nurse over his bed. They were totally on top of it. They clean their linens and their towels and remake their beds once a week. And then any other laundry you want to be done, there's just a laundry room down the hall, so people can do their own laundry. They just love it there.

We had a good tour at Ashford Assisted Living and Memory Care. The memory care facility was gorgeous. It was big and bright. It was beautiful and the people seemed very nice. The atmosphere seemed very pleasant and very quiet.

My dad moved into Ashford Assisted Living and Memory Care. They have more staff per resident, and the feel of the inner halls is more spacious, open, and light. The rooms are standard that we saw at other places. There's a couple of options for dining, one that's close to the rooms, and then there's one closer to the chef's area, and people gather there and linger afterward. They have events every day including musicians coming in, games that they play, and they do tours a couple of times a week. They're loaded up in the bus, and my dad raved about the experience in the mountains riding along on the bus. He likes the food. They have a calendar of activities and they just go from 9 am to 7 pm.

The Ashford has been a life saver for our family. Our loved one was in a different facility and the experience was awful, to say the least. When we visited The Ashford our loved one was so impressed and ready to move immediately. The building is large and spacious and the natural lighting that has been designed in it is great! It is kept spotless. The apartments are very functional, and kept clean by some amazing housekeepers. The staff is very capable in their care. They are so friendly, also. I've never had one just walk by me and not speak to me. The CNA's are there to help the residents. They are truly caring. The kitchen staff know their stuff when it comes to serving good quality meals. The activities staff keeps the residents busy and involved constantly. I've wondered where they come up with so many ideas for fun things to do. The activities room and the outdoor recreation area are also available for families to use. I'm so glad we found this place!!

Without a doubt, this is the best care center of it's kind in Utah Valley. The staff is skilled and caring to both the residents and their guest. The director is friendly and helpful and the receptionists are so very kind and gracious. When you see the housekeeping staff (they keep a low profile) they are busy and cheerful. The food is excellent and the entire place is clean and fresh smelling. Their care of our loved one has been a true life saver and they do so very much for him. Best decision we ever made!

My husband was in Ashford Assisted Living and Memory Care for a short time. It was just right across from me, and it was reasonable. It met the care that I needed. It was very accommodating for me because it was close. It was a very lovely facility, and it was clean. They met my needs at the time. Everything was in place. The services were excellent. They had CNAs available. It was just a positive experience. Since they were brand new, the serving of their food was still shaky, but they improved. Every week when we were being served, you could see improvements because we made some suggestions and they realized that “Hey we hired people that were not experience with the real situation.” They welcomed family and would encourage family to come and eat with their loved one. That was nice.

When I went in Ashford Assisted Living and Memory Care, I was very impressed with the facility. It was only 5 years old, and then they had added on the memory unit which was only a year old. It was a very lovely facility, and the people were extremely friendly. Everything was very clean, and they were very professional. It was very well run and very open. The staff and the patients seemed very happy. My wife would be moving in the memory care on Monday. The room that she would be moving into was nice. It's a studio that had a nice window and view of the mountains. I had not eaten there, but I looked at the food the patients were eating, and I had a menu; it all looked very good. It was a privately owned facility. I had talked with the owner and director of the facility and his assistant. I met with the nurse. They had a doctor on call right there and nurse's aides. Most of the time they had 5 -- and sometimes 6 -- patients per nursing assistant, so the patients were well cared for. They had a tremendous amount of activities. They took them on bus rides. They had entertainment came in. They helped them with things like gardening and crafts. They kept them as active as they were able to do. They had a huge open area with atriums, and the rooms were around the edge of the large open spaces. So, it was inviting and very relaxing with lots of room for guests. There were open areas where they could watch big screen TVs. They had music on a regular basis. People came in to perform. All the times that I had been there, they had different people performing, and the patients were participating.

My dad is living in Ashford Assisted Living & Memory Care. Their staff has a very positive attitude. Everything in that community was good. They even have activities such as bingo and singing. However, their food could be a little bit better.
