This is a warm and loving facility with wide, roomy areas. I know a couple who live here because they don't around as easily as they used to and navigating the stairs in their old house was no longer possible. At this facility, they still have their own space, even their own kitchen, without having to care for an entire house themselves. They also enjoy getting to know their neighbors and making friends. They were surrounded in their old neighborhood by many new, young couples and they couldn't get around well enough to visit their friends. Here, friends are just a door away, and several of them at that. They get together for dinner, go to activities, and generally enjoy life. The last time I visited, my friends were having afternoon tea with their friends next door. It was unbearably cute, these four older people gathered together around teacups and homemade English biscuits"”also known to the rest of us as cookies. My friends are incredibly happy here.
