Fire alarms go off all the time and cannot be shut off until fire department comes. Sometimes that is in the middle of the night. Apartments say it is due to someone smoking inside but it is an in going issue and they have gotten citations due to it. Right.m now the elevators are off due to the apartments reading the hall floors on the third floor. This is a 55 and older apartment. The elevators have been off since Thursday. The team that is laying the floor in the hall are not working over the weekend so again they will still be without elevator access for a few more days. My grandmother and her sister who are both almost 80 cannot walk down the stairs. They have called the apartment office with a response. This is typical and if for some reason you happen to get them to answer the phone the new office staff if extremely rude and unprofessional. 2 weeks ago I called to ask if they had received the new button for my grandmother to get in the gate of the parking lot and the mail room and the lady in the front office proceeded to be disrespectful, unconcerned, dismissive, rude and still after 2 months of needing a new button she still does not have one and they said it is because they can’t sink the button. The gate is 80% of the time broken so that isn’t the issue but it’s how they get into the mail room if the office is closed. My grandmother still writes checks and a few months ago they lost the check she paid her rent with. Many cars that do not have handicap plates park in the handicap spots which leaves many of the older elderly who can’t walk far walking long distances and have to stop and sit down. Reported but nothing being done. Doors to go from outside the building to the inside of the complex building is extremely heavy and many residents have trouble opening the heavy doors with their walker. I have reported that myself as well. Overall it is an awful experience. -rooms are small but nice -staff is extremely rude, not responsive to residents basic needs, dismissive - have pool, outside patio area -tiny tiny gym -common inside area

I've chosen the Gala at Fate for my parents. They're doing pretty good. It's an apartment for 55 and up. The staff was pretty darn good. Alyssa, in particular, was great. She's helped us a lot through the process. It's all brand new, so it's beautiful. It's not finished yet, and it seems to be taking a while. That's my only complaint. They haven't finished the laundry rooms, they haven't finished the salon, and they haven't finished the walking paths. There's stuff that needs to be finished. This place is based on income.
