Soteria Exclusive Adult Day Care Center is committed to providing quality adult day care programs for persons 18 and older who do not require institutionalization, but still need physical, emotional and other support services to alleviate or slow further deterioration and to promote independence. The mission of our program is to enhance the daily lives of those who have been left out due to physical or cognitive impairments. Family members often find themselves unable to provide all of the needed support for elderly relatives, while still taking care of their own physical and emotional needs. As a provider of respite care, caregivers are provided with the opportunity to get away for the day with peace of mind that their loved ones are in the care of the trusted professionals at Soteria ADC. As the area's only private adult day care provider, we strive to improve the quality of life for our clients through promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. All of our clients will have the opportunity to participate in the Soteria Wellness Program focusing on preventative and alternative health care. Also, bathing, spa and salon services are available on site for our members. Although Soteria ADC is a social model, a licensed nurse is on staff M-F for the administration of prescribed medications. The staff is comprised of a registered nurse and nursing assistants with extensive experience in caring for the elderly and disabled.
