T L C Adult Care Center

My mother-in-law is now at T L C Adult Care Center. The staff is excellent. The location is beautiful. It's right on the riverbank. When I went there, it felt very comfortable. I walked in, and everybody was friendly. They're well staffed. They're professionally staffed. There's a nurse there all the time. It's just a good fit for us. The food is very well accepted. Everybody seems to enjoy the food. It's home-cooked meals every day. And if you don't want what the main entree is, they offer you some sort of sandwich or something. They're very well-fed.

We liked T L C Adult Care Center because of its good reputation and that it's close to my home. I also liked the atmosphere. The lady that gave us the tour had a lot of expertise and I liked that all the answers to my questions were very honest and appropriate. The outside patio had a very beautiful view. The facility was clean. There was no odor.

Staffing limitations make it difficult for optimal care. The staff gets irritable from ver work. Very little t do besides watch television. Very crowded.

TLC is a very small personal care facility. The employees were not very kind to the people who resided under their care. They were pushy & impatient. The facility was, however, kept very clean. There wasn't much for the residents to do other than watch tv or sit outside when the weather was nice. There was not enough staff to cover the number of residents. There was a brief exercise class once a week & games provided about once a week as well. Overall, I don't think it was a good facility.
