Unfortunately the center has changed owners. Many of the previous workers have been let go or chose to leave. .My mother is there and the quality of service has gone down tremendously. I am currently in the process of moving her to another facility. this process is not going well as the center is trying to stop the process. They are more concerned with revenue than the actual care. It was not always like this. I would suggest looking at other places if the need arises with your love one.

Golden Living Center is a wonderful facility. My mom loves it there. The rooms are set up like a dorm, there are 3 other residents with her in the room, but it's bigger than my living room. She has enough space, a bed, a 24-hour nursing set and it's amazing. They have treats such as someone comes in and does her hair for her. It's a modern living facility and better than the ones I've seen. She can't talk, so they'd take her more to the library because she likes to read a lot or on trips to the zoo, and stuff that she'd normally want to do. They incorporated her likes and dislikes into her program of activities, so she wouldn't feel like she's in a nursing home. What I like best is their 24-hour security.
