My parents are in Arcadia at Limerick Pointe. One of the nice parts is that they put them together rather than put them in separate rooms because they have separate needs. The people who work there actually really care about the residents, it's quite obvious. There's at least one restaurant there, there's a bar and a beauty shop. They have many different kinds of activities and several different religious services. They are independently owned which is good, they're not associated with a hospital or some mega-corporation. They're two years old, they just literally built everything so everything is relatively new and everything is clean. The people they have there are prompt. If you have issues, they address the issues. Nothing's going to be perfect, there are a couple of issues, but were they addressed or are they being addressed? Sure, absolutely. I was very, very impressed. And I did my due diligence, but they stood out. I haven't eaten there but they do not go with a commercial food organization like Aramark. They buy their own food and it's prepared on-site, so the quality of the food is very good. My parents like it and my parents are very picky.

I toured Arcadia at Limerick Pointe. The lady showed me around. The place is very nice. She was excellent, she took me around the different apartments, she was very pleasant, and not pushy. They were great. They were very friendly. I got to see everything. She showed me all the different things and went over the different things that you can do as a resident. Told me about the meal plan. I was there for over an hour and it was a delight talking with her. They had a nice game room with a pool table. She went over the things that they have: one club that talks about current affairs every morning, art, and a nightclub. There's always a card game going on. The apartment was nice. They had a full kitchen. They had walk-in showers and bars, and that's a good thing. The seats and the shower, it was just a nice place.

Arcadia at Limerick Pointe was a nice-sized community. It wasn't overwhelming. Vicky, the person who took me around, was very informative, answered all my questions, and was very knowledgeable of the community. She said she had something with her parents, too. So it was sort of nice knowing that somebody was working with you who knew what you were going through at the time. They cover all your utilities. They have activities for all their residents. They have a lot of more intellectual lectures that sound very good for people who still have their minds together, as in the case of my mother. They did try to keep people involved in the activities there and all the meals were included. It was nice. I didn't try any food, but they seemed to have a very extensive menu. They cater to the residents like if somebody wants something special, they'll do it for them. It was very clean and well taken care of.

Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is the one I like the best. It is a newer one. They have full kitchens. I like the design of the apartments, the clientele, and their activities. I like the brightness of it, the newness of it, the layout of the apartments, and the way they have their dining for dinners and lunch. There wasn't anything I did not like about it. They have a very nice staff. It's also very clean. I saw that they were doing a trip for the people that lived there. They were going on a trip that day, so that was nice. They had an exercise room also. I like the location of where Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is. That's only 10 minutes away from my daughter. They also had a chapel there which was Catholic, which I am.

My mother has moved into Arcadia at Limerick Pointe. It's very clean and pleasant, and it's got nice people and nice accommodations. We chose it based on my interview with the people. The staff is very personal and attentive to her needs. There's a good variety of food, it is well prepared, and the quantities are ample. They have group activities to engage the people, and she enjoys them. It's a modern facility. It's brand new, spacious, well laid out, and clean. It's a little pricy, but you get what you pay for.

Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is like a country club. It's absolutely beautiful. You get PT, OT, and two square meals a day. The only thing is you do get a $300 incentive for your meals. I don't think that could get out of control, but breakfast is pretty much like a buffet-type thing, which is a light breakfast. Every room, regardless if it's a studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom, has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. They had exercising and stuff in one area. The staff during the tour was great. I looked at the menu and it was good. It's very clean.

The tour we had of Arcadia at Limerick Pointe was wonderful. It felt like I'm in a 5-star hotel. It was just beautiful. I don't think that my mother-in-law would think that she's in a care facility. That's how beautiful it is. The staff provided us with good information. We love their ideas, unlike any other places we have visited. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and very bright. They have different paint on the bathroom walls and the handrails are painted differently. They have a molded seat in the shower. Each room has the facade of the front of a house. It looks like a little porch at your front door. All doors are different colors, so you'll know you live in that brick house with a green door. There is a salon and a library. For the choices of meals, they give presentation plates of what's available. They don't just tell you or have it on a menu. They present it to you. You can see the food and you can smell the food before choosing what you like. The dining area is very clean. You can see the kitchen area where the preparation is being done.

We looked at Arcadia at Limerick Pointe. It's a new building and it's well-maintained. They still have to open four floors, they are still on the first floor. The second floor is opened up in like two or three weeks and then they go on from there. The layout was great, you can see down the hallway, and you can see each room, nurse stations, and the community room. You could see it like a hundred yards away, so the setup was very good. I like the way they handle assisted living and memory care, they can order off a menu if they want to. But instead of them reading off a menu, they present the food and what they're having. Like pork chops or chicken or cheese steak, they present the plate before they handed it to them. It's all wrapped up and it's nice, the presentation was very good. So I think the visualization for my dad would help a lot with that. The room had a little kitchenette area, I thought it was big enough for my dad. They've got four rooms to choose from, which was good. They've got a 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, a studio, or a joint companion one. They're all nice and laid out nicely, and then they looked safe for my dad. There's a whole long list of activities for the resident like painting, cards, and building stuff. The activities are very good. They had a barber, a salon room, a game room, and a little exercise room that somebody can help them with. They had a nice big kitchen area where they all sit down and get whatever they want, whenever they want. There's always staff like if they need soda or whatever, he can go get it. So I think all the amenities are spot on. Overall, the price point is high but I would rate them highly. Their staff is really good and they're very picky with the staff. Everyone I met was very nice, interacting and they're always friendly. If somebody would just sit there by themselves waiting for somebody to help, they're always available. They've bent over backward to meet my schedule because I've had to cancel a couple of times. The overall experience was good.

I already moved to Arcadia at Limerick Pointe. It's a beautiful place, they keep it nice and it's pretty much easy access to everywhere if you're independent you can go. Plus they have things that go on all week long. They have things like bingo, yoga, they have a game room that has a nice pool table, a shuffle alley so it's very nice. The staff is amazing, they call you by your first name all the time, which is so nice. Even the people that work in the dining services area, they're so nice. The food is delicious, I put six pounds on since I've been here. There's nothing that I don't like. I think it's a little expensive, but there's nothing that they don't have here.

I liked Arcadia at Limerick Pointe a lot. It was gorgeous, but they were too expensive. They have a one-bedroom with a bedroom, a den, and they have studios and two-bedrooms. They had a wonderful first-floor deck or a patio. They were spotless, and the lady there was very nice. They're about $6,700 a month. Everything was nice and they were all nice, there was nothing that was not nice. The food was good.

My mother is in Arcadia at Limerick Pointe. We saw a lot of communities, and this one just seemed to check all the boxes that we were looking for. The biggest thing was their memory care program is really state-of-the-art. There's a lot of socialization, a lot of activities for memory care stimulation, and a lot of one-on-one resident to staff attention. The staff is great. The food is very good, and she has choices. It's brand new, so it's very nice. There's a lot of natural light and a lot of color, and it's very comfortable and clean.
