I am a resident of Chimes Terrace. It's a nice place. It's just too far. When you walk in there's a library room. It's very pretty, very well kept up, and good maintenance. I have a small one-bedroom apartment and it's handicapped accessible. The only problem that we had here was my daughter, and she was looking for places. She came here and they said it would be like a year or so. I got it in eight months, which is great. My daughter thought they led her to believe that there would be a nurse here 24/7, and there's a nurse for assisted living from 7:00 to 7:00. Other than that, we don't have anybody ourselves. We take care of our transportation, things like that. We have different musical groups come in. We have bingo. Things are going on each day. There's a birthday party each month for everyone who has a birthday that month. We have praise and worship a couple of times a month, and we have outings with a bus occasionally, which we'll go to either like the Krogers or Cracker Barrel to eat or something like that. They do fingernails. We have a meeting on Tuesdays called the Coffee Hour to just sit and talk about different things. We also have a committee that tries to get things going for independent living. We've gone round for some prizes or activities too. There are nice ones, so that works out well. We have a garden that we have nurtured for the last two years, and fresh food comes in from that.
