"My mother was at Shorehaven. It was actually a rehab, but they do have an assisted living area, and she was well taken care of. It was clean and nice, and the assisted living section was perfect for her. They had a little efficiency kitchen, a separate bedroom, a living room and a nice big handicapped bathroom. Our hospital is probably about three or four miles away, and it was good. We had very good communication. They had a lot of activities -- piano players and crafts. It’s a very nice facility. "

"My dad was a former resident of Care Age of Brookfield. The people there were amazing. They were totally in tune with his needs and took it above and beyond. They wouldn't let him get away with anything. You got somebody who's 89 years old and he just doesn't want to move. They were good at what they did. They truly mastered getting him up and moving and transferring himself. We would set demands because we needed him at the other location for my mom, and it took an entire week before he learned how to transfer himself and get up and move. And for somebody who's aging and his injury, it was good."

"Wheaton Franciscan was nothing but positive. In fact, my brother was demanding, and they met his needs. I was amazed. They're excellent and we’ve recommended other people to go there. There was this woman who got her mother in there and she is so pleased and her mother is so happy there, so it's run very well. The staff was good and any time you needed to talk to someone, they were excellent. The rooms were always neat and clean. They were a nice size. I was very impressed. They had a beautiful outside setting. They had an all-natural beautiful waterfall and rock setting, and a huge patio with tables and umbrellas. They had beautiful flowers and my brother loved it. They also had a lot of activities like mass twice a week, and priests who would come and visit you also, which my brother loved because he's very Catholic. He could also go to confession. They took very good care of my brother. We loved the doctor who did his wound care. It was wonderful and they were so good to us when we were going through the process of my brother passing. The people there seemed very happy. My brother went into their hospice care, and they had a hospice nurse on sight which was wonderful. They were so good to us. In the end, my brother ended up in a private room because he wanted one. It was actually a double room made into a single, and he had everything he wanted in there, like certain pictures on the wall from home which he insisted on, and they made it happen. They're very accommodating there."

"My mother is not an easy resident to handle and she's got several serious medical conditions. The staff have always been kind and caring. A member of our family visits routinely and she has not had any complaints about my mother's care or the cleanliness of the room. The staff are very responsive and helpful to her and to those of us who live further away and check up on my mother by phone. The onsite dialysis is invaluable. We had my mother in other rehab places before this one (she'snow in long term nursing care) and we are much happier with Brookfield Rehab. I wish it were easier to get a hold of the doctors, but the nurses are all very responsive and helpful. "

"My mom moved into LindenGrove Communities Mukwonago. She's only been there three days, and so far, so good. She likes it a lot. The staff is very attentive and she said the food was very good. Right now, they're on a COVID protocol but after the 7th of February there will be more activities. Right now, they're kind of isolated and they're eating in their rooms. It's a very nice facility, it's clean, it's modern, it's inviting, and nicely decorated."

"I had a great experience at Dickson Hollow. It's a very nice place. I had a full tour. They've got very knowledgeable people, and I got to talk to a couple of the residents. It was a very positive tour. I saw an apartment in assisted living and it was very nice. It was a corner apartment, so it had a lot of space. The amenities were typical. They had a resident assistant and if there are issues with people, they certainly would help out dealing with it. It's secluded from independent living. They had their own dining room. They had a movie theater. I don't think there's anything probably much different than most places. You get a one or two-bedroom apartment. We looked at the one-bedroom apartment because that's all my mom needs, and it had plenty of space as far as I'm concerned. They have independent living, assisted living, and memory care."

"My sister-in-law was in Linden Grove and it was a very friendly and nice place. It was well run and they cared for their patients. "

"I picked LindenGrove Menomonee Falls because it was recommended. Also, it's in Menominee Falls, so it was close by. My sister could come and visit me and take care of things for me. It's a very clean facility. The staff is outstanding. I can't say enough about them. They treat us very, very nicely. I think it deserves a 5-star rating. It's an awesome facility. I would recommend it to anyone. They are an outstanding staff. They really care about you here. Their food is obviously made in large quantities, but it's good. There's nothing bad about it. It's very clean, and the staff is always right here. The maintenance crew is good. It's a nice place to rehab, and their therapy department is outstanding. They have bingo once a week, and they give out prizes and stuff when you get a bingo. That's always fun to get out of the room, where it would last for about an hour or so. Today they had Shetland ponies come, so it's pretty cool. They also do a Vegas day, and that's like once a month. They play poker with cards, and we play as a group. They also have live music come, too. They try to get the residents all involved. It's worth the money for the care you get here."

"My mother moved into Congregational Home. Our experience is pleasant, the staff is very nice, and my mother likes it there. If we have problems, they take care of it right away. They stop in to see her and they're very professional. All the people that we met there were very friendly and we liked the location. They have all kinds of stuff for the residents, they go on field trips, they have get-togethers, and they do yoga and all kinds of exercise things and so on. I like how nice and clean the place is. My mom has her own washer and dryer, and she cooks in her own kitchen. We looked at a couple of places and this one was the best for us."

"New administration has made great changes in the facility. Newly remodeled rooms and updates. Staff is friendly and caring and the therapy dog on staff is a great addition to the building and hit with the residents. "

"My grandmother enjoyed her stay at LindenGrove. It was hard for us to get her to leave the rehab unit. Staff was very attentive and took time out of their busy day to just sit and talk with her. I would recommend this place to everyone. "

"My great-aunt was at this facility. The staff was very caring and on top of all her needs as well as supporting the rest of the family. This is an older, smaller facility but the care out weighs the the looks. During the covid pandemic, the staff was very caring and did everything possible to keep us informed and involve with my aunt. The administrator even bought cell phones and an ipad so we could see our aunt virtually and talk to her during quarantine. The residents loved to play bingo, listen to the music entertainment and the christmas party was amazing, with the help of the community. The therapy dept was great. The beautiful patio over looks the lake. & if we weren't there to take my aunt outside, the staff did. I would highly recommend."

"Don't be misled by the low rating. Yes, the facility could use some updating, but the physical therapy department was excellent. The staff is very pleasant. What is very nice is the residence can have unlimited visitors. They only ask that 15 people are not in a room at a time. Pets can also visit."
