My family member resided at this facility for 378 days. He is ventilator-dependent and was so when he arrived from another state. Still, he hoped to receive some rehabilitative services and was admitted to a rehab unit at the facility. They were not always prepared to meet his level of care on the unit, and did not end up providing him with rehab services, based on his underlying disability. Volunteer services did not make the effort to visit him, though asked many times. Visitor policies were restrictive, and a clergyman was even banned from the facility for unexplained reasons. It was a clean facility, cleaner than we expected, but my family member still developed serious infections that could only have been picked up in a facility. Feeding policies were also restrictive, but were based on being short-staffed.
