I am a resident of Sunny Acres Senior Center, and the best thing is the price. They have a studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. The studio apartments are $300 a month. The one-bedroom is $500, and the two-bedroom is $700, and that includes all utilities. It's in separate buildings, and a lot of them have ten apartments in the building. They all have separate entrances. Each building has a laundry facility and washers and dryers, and those are free for us to use. They are locked after 4:00 in the afternoon and usually about 8:30, but now it's almost 11 because winter is so cold, they don't open them until we get above freezing. So we've had a little less use of the laundry facility. There are some covered parking, and I have covered parking, and that's an additional $15 a month. There are lots of little walking paths between the units and up and down the street. We're close to everything, and it's easy to go grocery shopping. Where we live is one of the main streets, so you can go from one end of town to the other in five minutes. It's easy to get around. They have a maintenance staff, and I have no complaints about the facility. They're not luxury apartments, but they were clean before we moved.
