Brookefield Park is fairly new, maybe only three or four years old. The people we met that work there are wonderful. The quality of the food here looks more real, it looks like something we'd cook at home. It's just really a pleasant place. We just saw the menus and met the chef that works there. The food just looks a lot better than what they're getting where they're at. They were all full when we were there, so we weren't able to go into the rooms. But they have various levels of rooms. Since he'll probably be a Medicaid patient, it would probably be the least decorated or anything. They call it a head-toe room. Two men would share a bathroom, but they'd each have their own room, one to the north and one to the south, and then the bathroom between them. The staff were excellent. They had family dining if you wanted a family, plus they had dining for the memory unit and then they had dining for the rest of the units. It's homemade food instead of pre-cooked or whatever. They have outdoor facilities for them to go out, even memory care there. Since they can't leave a certain area, it's restricted and they made it very nice for them. They have a lot of games and music and things like that. It was very nice, clean, and modern. I just hope they get some openings.
