PLEASE do not send your loved one to this facility!! The administrator and director of nursing are the most uncompassionate people I have ever met!! I can promise you they do not care about your loved one or their well being!! They should be fired and pray that someone they love never needs healthcare assistance!!! I will tell everyone I know not to use this facility!!!!

In dealing with Covenant Health, I was truly disappointed. They stay understaffed and the majority of the CNA's don't care for the residents. When entering the home at different hours, it is not unusual for some of the staff to be sleeping in the residents empty beds or chairs. They use the drawers for their personal items, leaving the residents things in the closet floors or scattered. The rooms are cleaned only if they have word of a visit about to take place. Most of the residents that need assistance in feeding are only fed by the newly hired people. Once they get in the routine, then they also begin to follow suit and leave the residents to fend for themselves. Always the same thing said, we don't have enough staff, good help is hard to find, and let's put them in diapers, its in their best interest and It's easier for everyone. If they would keep the good Administrators and let them do their job, maybe things would get better. They will not purchase enough chairs for evryone to eat in the diningroom and dont encourage family to visit much. If you do complain about how your friend or relative is treated, you ate labeled by some of the staff as a trouble maker. But let me say, there are some RN's, LPN"s, a few CNA's, that care yet they are unable to do what's needed because the majority simply show up for a paycheck and care nothing about the residents. Thus, leaving those who care, drained and burnt out. You are greeted by the horrible smell of urine throughout the building, it is bearable when the air is lowered, but let the heat come on or the temperature rise for any reason and you will want to vacate. There is no designated days that are followed to give residents baths that are unable to ask for it or are forgetful.mVisit your loved one enough and you will know. Yes changes are made from time to time, but they do not last.
