When my family visited Golden LivingCenter in Ripley, it was at an emotional time for my family. We were looking for a place to help my grandfather live out the rest of his life. He had gotten to the age where he could not take care of himself. His health had gone down over time and we knew the end was coming so we wanted him to get the most out of his life as he could in his final years. So we sought out some of the local assisted-living facilities throughout the area, we went from Alabama to Tennessee and to Mississippi, some of his friends were at those facilities and had given them great reviews and we wanted to make the best choice we could when deciding where he could stay. The facility was nice and clean and the staff was punctual and extremely helpful. There was not a question that they could not answer. I wanted to ask some of the patients at the facility how they liked it there but I thought it would be too much of an invasion of privacy to ask them. It is in a good location and many families come to visit their loved ones on a daily basis. This is a good facility.
