My mom is now at New Albany Health and Rehab Center. It's very nice. It seems to be very welcoming and clean. It is decorated sort of a welcoming-type situation where everything is updated. It doesn't look institutionalized. There is artwork on the wall. Everybody is out of the rooms and moving around. The nurses are very nice and helpful. They seem to be taking COVID precautions. I haven't tried the food, but my mother has not complained about the food. They have a lot of activities, it seems like because my mom is always talking about that they're doing this or that. There are a lot of arts and crafts, fingernail painting, just different things to get them together. They were making crafts like they did something for Thanksgiving. She has enjoyed the activities. They have just been accommodating and helpful with the process.

My mother was transported there first and she has Altiemers. The staff is RUDE , prejudiced, and my mother had bruising on her , wouldnt change her as/when needed and treated her awful. She begged me to take her home. She was starving always too. Wasnt providing therapy to her ( Nor others there that I noticed ) DO NOT SEND ANY OF UR LOVED ONES THERE!

This facility did not take good care of my father who was afflicted with Alzheimers and Lung Cancer. They would let him sit in his own urine all day long until he had huge bed sores that had to be debrided by a doctor. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
