Aldersgate Retirement Community

I toured Aldersgate Retirement Community and it is a beautiful place. It's like a village. They have 2 or 3 buildings that are independent living and they also have assisted living. I believe it's a faith-based place and it felt like home when I walked in. They have cottages that look like houses in a neighborhood. The staff who assisted me during the tour was wonderful, just down to earth, and very nice. They have very nice wood floors and kitchens that are up-to-date. They have walking trails with lots of trees so it's private. They also have security.

We toured Aldersgate Retirement Community. It was definitely an independent living, but it also had dining and assisted care as well. I thought the apartments were a little small. They showed us a two-bedroom. They had a lot of common activity rooms, a woodworking shop, and a gym. The staff was very nice. The place itself looked very nice, kept clean, and in good condition.

I visited this person in Aldergate. He has a nice size apartment. It is sort of all in one room, but yet not. The bedroom is separate. It also has a little sitting area with the television and a little nook where he could fix something if he wants to in his apartment as far as eating. Also they have a bus that will take him every so often to the grocery store. Regarding sanitation, it is great. My friend is just really happy there, and the people seem to be very happy. He even found himself a girlfriend.

Aldersgate is nice. My son-in-law’s mother lives there, and she likes the personal care. She’s been living there for three years. She said the food is good; she doesn’t complain about it.

My in-laws were able to participate in many activities. The staff was very caring and helpful.

My Grandparents stayed in this community for over a year. It was all good. The facility is very nice & clean. It's well maintained. I personally chose Aldersgate for them. It was referred by a friend. All the staff are very caring so my grandparents were treated very well with respect. I will surely recommend Aldersgate to others.
