I like Birchwood Meadows. They're doing a good job. They interact with my father a lot. He likes it, and he seems very comfortable there. He has a private room. He is doing well, and he enjoys the food. He likes the meal they provide. They have a large deck that goes out to the lake. His room is very nice and roomy. The facility appears clean.

My mom is in Birchwood Meadows. They're all really, really nice people there and the food is exceptional. Everybody is courteous and the 9 ladies are all happy. They play cards, do word finds, play with dice on bowling ones and monopoly, or they just sit down and talk. There are all kinds of games for the ladies to play with. They've got TV's and a big family room, so when a group of people comes in they can all go into that room and be more private. They've got nice recliners in the room where one TV is. There are all kinds of comfortable couches and chairs in the big room, a TV, and another big table. The whole kitchen is on both sides of the house. It's nice and clean. There's a place for us to go to the bathroom while we're visiting and they'd put out a lot of coffee and say, "make yourself at home." I like best that the place is like a home; like your own house. It's a pretty place, quiet, and comfortable. My mother is totally adjusted to the place. Everybody is happy go lucky. The guys sit down and chat with the ladies when they can, and if somebody needs her decanters change, they'd get right on it or if somebody's got a headache, they'd notify a doctor. The guys are right on top of it.
