"My wife will be moving into Edgeworth Park at New Town. This place just blew me away. It was very uptown and the people seemed very, very nice. The place was clean, and they had nice rooms and nice layouts. There was a refrigerator and freezer in the rooms. The staff who assisted me was wonderful and very knowledgeable."

"My experience with the tour at Dominion Village at Williamsburg facility was great. They were proficient; they won't just do it. We saw all the amenities, it was a nice little place. We're leaning towards the other community, and one reason was that Dominion has a mental health care facility on one end, and the other end is more assisted living. I didn't care for the fact that the mental is on the other end. We also toured that area and it was terrible that people are in that situation. And my mother-in-law is not that far along, but we didn't feel like that we need her to experience anything more like that. The staff was excellent. They were very proficient and they were showing us things that were going on there, you couldn't ask for better people. They were great. We didn't try the food but the menus looked good. The layout of the place was fine. My only concern was because their showers have more of a step-in as opposed to just a straight walk-in, and people like my mother-in-law will have a bit of difficulty there. The rooms were nice, they were set up nicely. Although a little small, they would have probably been proficient. The staff, I enjoyed more than I did anything."

"Everything is nice here. I don't have any complaints right now. The place is clean, big, and a newer building. They have physical therapy, beauty salon, a gym, a coffee café, TV room, family rooms that you can reserve for parties, bingo, birthday parties, and field trips. They have snacks anytime they want them, along with the three meals. They serve good food, and the dining room is a nice size. They have probably about 12 to 15 tables in there, so it's not crowded. Whenever my family goes up there, they feel really good about where Mom is."

"Harmony on the Peninsula was a beautiful place. My husband and I looked at their assisted living and the rooms were nice. The staff seemed nice, and the place looked impeccably clean. They have a big common area, there are craft rooms, and lots of activities, too. The dining was nice. It was a big open space and they have dining after-hours where you can order something. It's just expensive, probably the most expensive of the places we have visited. As we walked around, the staff were very friendly, greeted us, and said hi to us. The person who was showing us around was a little snooty. We were like, "This is very expensive so we're not sure" and she said, "Well, not everybody can afford to come here". Maybe she was just trying to be realistic with us because we had given her our financial information."

"I toured Harper's Station Yorktown. The people, the community itself, are very welcoming. I got a chance to eat there. They had a lot of choices, and the food was very good. The washer/dryer was good, a closet with doors. That's the only thing I was hesitant about, but good size. This facility is practically new. They have a pool and exercise equipment, and everything you need."

"I frequently go into Dominion Village, to visit loved ones and my friends loved ones. the building itself is an older building as it's been here for as long as I can remember. But the care that the staff there provides is unlike anything I have ever seen elsewhere. From top to bottom all the staff care about all the residents and the residents families. It is family. I've had family and friends both as a resident there and it truly does turn into home. Its hard to leave your home to move into an assisted living, but somehow the staff at dominion village make it easier but helping you and your family adjust to your new home "

"My stepmom is in Commonwealth Senior Living at Kilmarnock. The care is adequate. She's in a large room, so it's nice. I think she's in a two-person room, and they're charging us for a single person price because they don't have a person to fill it. There have been times we've gone there and the floor needed to be cleaned. The staff is very respectful and very nice, but very forgetful. She has hearing aids and the hearing aids have been lost twice now, and this is a memory care unit, so that's been an issue with us. The food is adequate. They have a few activities, but not very many. We've had a few challenges trying to reach people when there's been a problem, but when everything's going smoothly, we can reach them right away. I wouldn't say communication is outstanding or excellent, just good."

"Everything is outstanding, from viewing and going to the facility, I love it and all the perks I will get. I'm happy. They help assist those people who need help, the place is clean, and they have courteous people. It's like being at home. They have laundry, a weight room, and meals are provided at different times. The dining room is lovely too. The room I am going to stay in is well lit and nice. Everything is very clean and outstanding."

"Commonwealth Senior Living at Hampton was very nice. It's just recently been renovated. It's very pleasant, very comforting, and homey. The staff seems very, very, very helpful and very, very caring. The dining area is very bright. They have an herb garden growing there, so that was kind of cool. I have not tasted any of the food but the lady across the hall says it's very good. They have libraries, an exercise room, and I saw them doing crafts in the big room. They also do excursions. The lady that gave me the tour was very good. She answers all your questions. The grounds are kept up nicely."

"Wow! Where to start? Despite our son's unfortunate circumstances, he was very fortunate to have been a resident at Anderson's Cozy Home. After being diagnosed with a nasty disease, FTD, our Michael was the first resident there. The Andersons treated him with love and compassion, just like family. They are special people, and are now part of our family as "adopted children and grandson." You will not find better care! They have a spacious home located in a beautiful setting. One of the things we liked the most is the Andersons don't just sit around the house. They offer stimulating, family activities by taking residents to ball games, museums, musical events and parks. We felt like we hit the jackpot, knowing that Michael was in the best hands possible. "

"The care provided at this facility is top rate. My husband has thrived since coming here in late September 2018. His therapists say he has come even further than they thought possible because of the care, activities, and stimulation provided. They have made the holidays brighter for the residents and their families because of the activities, dinners,and programs they have hosted. Hats off to all the staff for the great care they provide!"

"This facility is small and modest. I've only visited a few times, but the staff comes off as caring and competent. The security of the entrance in the Alzheimer's building is top-notch. You have to have someone to let you enter and exit. They make it very difficult for a disorientated patient to wander off and I'm thankful for that. The amenities are of average quality, but every patient does have access to a private space. The rooms that I have seen are a decent size with enough space to comfortably fit a bed, dresser, personal belongings and a nice-sized bathroom. The food served in the facility is decent and not bland like some places. My grandmother has no problem with claiming Eden Courts as her home. She seems to enjoy it there and I feel comfortable with her being a resident there. I know she is safe and being treated with the utmost respect and preservation of her dignity. "
