The team who gave us the tour was very, very polite and very friendly, and my friend just had a good feel about the place. They offer medicine services where they supervise your medicine. They also offer meals and nice rooms, and they take care of your laundry."

"My wife and I both have been using Life Care Center of Athens for our rehab and 24/7 nursing needs. I have had two knee replacements on my left knee and one on my right. My wife had a hip replacement and we could not be more pleased with the care we have received. I have used the out patient therapy services at Life Care Athens after discharging home. Tremendous place to come for therapy and nursing 24/7 care. Atmosphere at Life Care is Great!"

"My dad is now residing at The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Lenoir City. I wasn't really happy. My dad or they already lost his glasses, but that's pretty common in Alzheimer's places. When we got there, five people came out, greeted us, and got my dad out of the motorhome. We came over in a motorhome. And, the greeting alone was amazing. They were very welcoming. And it seems to be an extremely secure place. You have to go through two doors in order to get in and out. So it's very secure. Someone is not going to get out of there. I haven't seen any of the activities yet, but I know the PT and OT are off the chart on top of trying to get him therapy. They were more proactive trying to get things going for him. I was very impressed. I'm also trying to make sure that the insurance was paying for stuff. He has an immaculate room. His bathroom has its own shower. It's more expensive than what I was paying in California. It's about $1,000 more. So, I will know in time the value of where we are money-wise. But it seems like the amenities are a little bit better."

"My grandmother went in after she suffered a brain bleed and uti. Fainted in my arms. She went in and was horrible. Could barely walk even with her walker. Couldn’t dress herself. Couldn’t bath herself. Dementia was awful. Couldn’t remember me. Barely remembered my mother. Now she is amazing. I️ have seen her move so fast in YEARS. Her dementia has actually improved. She’s eating better. She can dress herself mostly on her own. Can bath herself. She’s like a whole new person. I️ can’t thank the staff enough for caring for her and helping her get better. "We liked Clover Hill Senior Living. They have a lot of activities for the seniors. I feel like that would be the place that I would like to get my sister in. However, they had some stuff going on, so the staff that we talked to was a little bit snooty. It was like, 'Don't waste my time if you can't get her in,' and I thought that was not good. Everything outside was really good. They have a courtyard and a salon. I think the rooms were a good size for what people need that need to be there. It looked very clean and very well-kept. In terms of location, it's near the hospital, restaurant, Wal-Mart, and a drugstore. It's pretty close to everything. "
