"I'm at Autumn Care; I've already got a place. I've been here for one week now. It's very clean. The staff members are very friendly and very knowledgeable about their jobs. Their food is awesome. They have, exercise with the bands as a group, they have dancing to the music to get them moving around, they have bingo, and they have karaoke. There's constantly something going on. Their prices are very fair. There's a patio with tables and a fire pit, and they do barbecues in that out there. They have a van like they got a color tour. They do different things like that besides everything else going on."

"I visited Parkview Senior Living - Maryville. It's very nice and very pretty. The staff was very nice and friendly. The room they showed me was nice, it was like a living room with a kitchenette in it, a bedroom, and a bathroom. It's like a small apartment. They feed them and they showed me some of the menus that they had. The upkeep and maintenance were excellent. They had a lot of different things, they had a library, card games, they had a pool table, a movie theater and they had a place for a beautician. There's pretty much everything that you need and the dining area was pretty."

"My father and mother were both residents at Shannondale Health Care in Maryville. I can not say enough good things about the staff of nurses at the facility. They are true professionals and go over and above the call of duty to care for the residents. I would recommend Shannondale to anyone looking for a place for a family member. "

"I liked the open floor plan at The Villages of Farragut and the fact that each unit had either a screen porch or a sunroom. The marketing person was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, gave a very thorough tour, and contacted a couple of people so that I could see their units. The living atmosphere seemed to be very pleasant."

"I ended up going with Prime West Knoxville. I'm in the process of moving in at this point, but I have signed a lease. The tour was extensive and comprehensive. We talked to residents, we talked to staff members, and the staff was uniformly positive and helpful and the residents were enthusiastic about it. They have an extremely low vacancy rating, which is a concrete sign of residents being content. There are washers and dryers in the units, and I thought they were well laid out. They have one- and two-bedroom apartments, and I got a one-bedroom. They have game areas, movie nights, a gym, walking, and wheeling club, they have a dog park for small dogs, they have several areas where you can gather to watch something on a screen, they have craft activities, and they have trips planned and tours to the local shops and groceries. The units have full kitchens."

"My mother went in the hospital and right now she is in a nursing home for rehab at Asbury Place at Maryville. It has been very nice and I was a little surprised that it's very clean. She is in a room until she is better. She won't get to go out to the dining area. The room that she's in is pretty nice in the way it's laid out. The people are very friendly, and the ones taking care of her seem to be very caring. Her room is very clean and neat and not very small. They've been very helpful. I don't know what they serve but I have seen some of the trays that looked very good. I have seen pureed food that looked pretty good considering what it is. The staff was very nice and very impressive when they showed us where she would be going."
