"My father will be moving into #1 Adoring Adult Care. I went to three different ones, but that was the one I felt most comfortable with. I actually went there twice. It was clean. The staff was friendly. She was very organized and knowledgeable of the business, and kind of gave me reassurance about her personality that my dad was going to be safe with her. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The whole house is well kept. The owner gave me the tour and she was very kind and very patient. She was returning my calls and answering all my questions. The dining area was formal and spacious as well. There's enough room for the people in there."

"I was able to see The Mohawk Estate. It's a very nice place but not as nice as the other place I toured. The staff who assisted me during the tour was a very nice woman and answered all our questions. We saw their sitting area, and kitchen, and were able able to see the rooms. They also mentioned that they have activities, but we didn't see any at the time."

"I really liked it. The rooms were nice. I just wasn't sure that was the best placement for my mother. They were right next to a Catholic church. My mother was Catholic, and I really like that. The staff was very nice. "

Our staff participate in monthly training given by the nurse practitioner to ensure resident comfort and care. "I liked the fact that Angel Core Home of Care is small and that they only have five residents. Each person would have their own room, so there won't be any shared rooms. All three meals a day are provided. They even have a refrigerator for little snacks and a TV in their rooms. So, I was quite impressed with that. It's been kept clean. The community room was spacious and they had two sets of dining room tables which would be appropriate for five people. There's a stairlift for those who live on the second level. There's a great big yard outside and a porch area. Everything is fenced-in, so no one can wander off. They go out two days a week to an adult daycare center where they would mingle with other people and do activities. You're not forced to go, but if they would like to go, it's available. The lady asked me what my brother liked at the moment, and I said that he was interested in bowling, and they were hoping to restart that program. The people I met there (the person who was cooking the meals and the owner) were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the questions that I would ask."

"My sister moved into Aventura at the Heights. It's an old house that has been refurbished, there's a lovely lobby/sitting area that leads into the dining room. She's fortunate because her room is right across from there on the first floor, so she doesn't have very far to go. I heard that there are two other floors, but I've never seen them. There is an elevator, but I don't know who's up on the second or third floor, but she's on the first floor. In the short time, she's been there, everybody has been very lovely, kind and attentive. I'd say, for the most part, some more than others, of course, but I feel like she's well cared for. They can improve in their response time though. She has her own kind of studio apartment, but it's a small studio. It has a full bathroom in there and then a little kitchenette. It has a refrigerator and some cupboard space. We put a microwave in there. There's like some sort of an exercise group in the morning and then they have trivia. They have movie nights. In the room where they eat, which I guess is the biggest room there, they have activities in there. I know they had some sort of speaker and like some sort of video, they were showing to their residents. She hasn't started yet, but she'll be getting physical therapy soon. The dining room is spacious, it looks like tables of four, although some people had put them together so they could be more sociable. It's very, very clean, and it smells clean, there is no strange odor. We were surprised because we had looked at four other places, and I believe the other four places were a little bit more expensive. This seemed to be somewhat more reasonable. It's worth the money. She seems to be doing well and she appears to be very happy there."

"Loving Care Assisted Living was great. This is the one that I would like to send my mother to. Jasmine was wonderful. She had a wonderful set-up. My mother enjoyed the people and staff that were there, including the residents. She had a great time. I loved it. Everything is in that one facility. They don't have it closed off for memory care and assisted living. It was a full assisted living facility. They just had special locks on the doors for wandering, so that they couldn't get them open. I felt comfortable because my mother wanders. The staff members were friendly and kind. They were laughing, and they could relate to my mother. They were talking to her, and she was talking to them. It was just a good conversation. Everyone was wonderful."

"I toured About That Life Assisted Living. I didn't go with anything else. I went because of the location and I liked the facility and it was very clean. The program, she ran it down to me, the things that my cousin would be doing, doctor's appointments, eating, taking his medication. If we want to put him out and he wants to go to daycare, he can. I chose that one because the lady was very professional and the house was nice."

"I went to Paradise Assisted Living and toured both assisted living and memory care. I had a meeting with their manager and he was so knowledgeable. I learned a lot from just sitting with him for an hour and a half about things to help me as I'm on this journey with my mom. He's very knowledge-based and he's also in the medical field. His staffing was impeccable, too. They could use some help with remodeling and updating. The furniture was very dated, but they had really good pricing and good room sizes."

"My mother is a resident at Arden Court Towson, and the Arden Court staff loves her and cares for her as if she were a member of their family. She has actually been there longer than any other resident and is a real favorite among staff and other visitors, even though she can no longer communicate verbally. The facility is always clean and safe, and Mother loves the food. She is kept clean, and the hairdresser does a great job with her hair every week. She can no longer participate in activities, but she's up and walking every day, and she gets outside when the weather is nice. I am so thankful every day for Arden Court Towson. "
