The independent living was great. The assisted living felt like a hospital. If mom needed to go into assisted living, I would prefer she went someplace else. They seemed like hospital rooms, like people who were really invalid, and that's not my mom. They have a library where you can check out books, all the typical activities, movies, book groups, selling groups, dancing, and physical activity, and they support a lot of the arts. They have groups that go into Baltimore that will go to the Symphony and things like that.
