Parkview is very nice and reasonable. You have to be 55 years or older to get in there. The apartment is wonderful. My mother has new carpets. I don't have any problem with the staff. You can call them and they follow through. Everybody there is nice and everybody knows each other. They have benches outside and a patio for barbecues. They have a community room set up with a flat screen TV, bingo games as well as have a coffee hour. They also have a computer and exercise room as well as casino and shopping trips twice a month. It's a very nice property and it's very clean. As for the price, it's very good. I recommended some things to the mayor of Bladensburg that he could do to make the facilities more feasible for the seniors, because at this point, my mother had fallen three times in there. We had to send the fire department to open the door. She was on the floor for two days! She needs somebody to be there with her because she has early stages of dementia. It's not a bad place at all. She just needs a little bit more care.
