"Mom is in Brookdale Gallatin, and she will have been there for be 3 weeks tomorrow. It is smaller with only 40 or 42 units. It is all in one level. It is kept up very well. The apartment is set up well for her needs. The layout is good. The staff is very conscientious in making sure that everything is set up for their needs. They are friendly. The food is decent. She is acclimating well. They have activities, but not too many. They have church available, exercise class, and ice cream socials, and they go to restaurants, but she hasn't used all that. There is a geriatric doctor's group that makes house calls, and they have nurses. It is near a lot. It is very conveniently located. It is about 6 or 7 miles from my house, but it is easy to go to. Any errand she needs me to do for her or any places I need to go is within a mile. It doesn't smell, and they are always cleaning. Everything is newer, and they keep it looking newer. Their marketing director will really go beyond the call of duty. He will do whatever he can to assist in making things happen, and I think that the personal touch really did sway me a lot besides the level of care and proximity. So, it is a good facility, it is close to me, it is in a good neighborhood, and the staff did a lot to assist in a smooth transition. "

"The Capstone at Station Camp is brand new. It was like going to a five-star hotel, brand new, wonderful. They weren't full yet, so I couldn't, they didn't have full activities yet, although they were working very hard on it. I think their level of care is a high level of assisted living. You'd have to function quite high right now, because they don't have full staff on board, but it's a lovely place. The staff were very lovely and engaging. They have beautiful amenities. They have everything you could offer. It's just that they're not fully staffed yet."

"The tour we had at American House Hendersonville was very informative. They answered all of our questions and we left with a good feeling. They gave us the information we needed, took their time, and gave us everything that we asked for. It had a very homey feeling, which we liked a lot, but it was a little stuffy and a little warm there."

"My mother loves her new place. The sales staff Sherry and Tray are so kind and helpful. There is a new lady in charge who is absolutely wonderful and cares all about the people there. I wish more things were planned with more variety, but overall I am very happy and so is mom!"

"It was very nice, but it was not close to our children. It was very beautiful, but it did not offer everything that we wanted. The tour was very nice. The community was more like a hotel. It was very attractive. It was comfortable and welcoming; however, it lacked several things. It did not have the full kitcher or the flexible meal plans. "

"I visited Clare Bridge of Goodlettsville which is just a couple of miles from my house. I liked it very much but they didn't have an opening at that time. From what I could see from the visit, it looked like a pretty neat place. Everything was neat and clean. They had a lot of little stations where residents could go. They had one that had yarn while one had sewing and another scrapbooking. For my mom at this point, she was too far along to enjoy that but some of the other patients could have. That was really nice and they seemed like they had a lot of activities planned. "

"Sterling House is a really nice place. My mom had a friend who was there for awhile. I just went there to visit her and I did see her room. Based on what I saw when I visited, I would give them a high rating. It was a high-dollar place but it was nice. "

"My mother has moved into Hickory Hills Alzheimer's Special Care Center. They're very in touch and personal with each resident. They keep them very active and treat them like family. They play games. They have old movies that they watch. They give them literature to read. The rooms are very good-sized, and they have restrooms in their rooms."

"Brookdale was a nice facility, but the cost was what we are missing. The primary caregiver for my mom looked liked it’s gonna fall through. The staff was nice, they had great amenities, and there were a lot of people there. They do games, and they had really nice grounds and common areas. "

"Medco of Franklin is a great nursing home! My grandmother nor I have no complaits since the past 4 months she had been living there. The employees there are amazing each and every one of them have always been there when she needed them and answered all the questions I have. They always did the extra tasks I asked them to do for my grandmother. They take very good care of her! They feed her everytime she is hungry. They have great food and it don't make her sick like Iv heard abt some of the places. The staff cleans up very good after her also she has never had a complaint. I would recommend anybody to stay here it's a great place "

"My mother has moved into Southern Kentucky Senior Living. The building is clean. The food is good. Care is good, too. It's beautiful. It's well laid out. It's easy to navigate. The lighting is phenomenal. She has low vision, and this couldn't have been better. It is safe. There are enough grab bars without it being overdone, so to speak. It's easy to move in. You have the double doors to come into her apartment from the outside. The whole facility is on one floor. I can't say enough. I'm pleased with it, and she's happy with it."

"What I liked the most about Hopkins Care and Rehabilitation Center was that the staff was very caring and attentive to the needs of the residents. They were very competent and they took care of mom very well. There's a sitting area, places where you can go outside and be with your loved one, and a little pavilion where you could have a birthday party, or something like that. It was adequate. On the negative side, it's an older facility and kind of looks run down. So, they just need additional attention to renovations."

"My mother has been at this place for 3 years. It is a nice for a seniors who has a good mind and can care for themselves. But when they get like my mother who has dementia and her mental health is lowly getting worse my advise is not even think about putting your love one there. If at all possible go ahead and put your love one in a Senior Living home where they are qualify to work with dementia patient and have a love for dementia people and ado so with cheerfully and lovely heart. This place took my mother knowing her had dementia, but the caregivers are not qualify or trained to work with dementia patient. Richland is only for seniors who can help themselves who only needs a little assisting with their medicine and personal hygiene. That is why I give it a 4 star rating. It has been a roller coaster ride for me since the beginning. "

"Highland Rim Terrace was very nice. They remodeled it. The people were very nice. Mark, who kind of runs the place, was very nice. The apartment was okay. It's a little different when you go from a house to that. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. They had cable hookup, if you want it. They had a washer and dryer. They had a laundry room where you could go. There are only two machines there, and there are quite a few apartments, so it could be a problem trying to get down to your laundry room or get a machine. There isn't enough."
