My aunt is moving out of Mather Place. It's a beautiful building. I think they do wonderful things in planning programming. Meal preparation is provided. The price point is what gets me. It's too expensive for me. The room sizes are average. Housekeepers come in, which is wonderful. They do light cleaning around the apartments, and they keep the overall building looking very clean and beautiful. They provide music, so musicians visit. They have religious services catering to several denominations. They do movies and arts and crafts. They may even have a lecturer come in every once in a while. I've only dealt with a few people at the front desk, but they're lovely and accommodating. They have two restaurants on-site. It's an expensive community to live in. If you have the money, it could be well worth the spend. The public areas are beautiful. I've only met two staff members there, but they were very nice.

I toured Mather Place. I liked that everybody was super friendly, the food was good, and the residents I met seemed happy. The staff seemed fine. The facility was very clean, and they have a pool.

Mather Place has an amazing variety of services and activities for residents in a beautiful and well maintained facility. It does seem that all of the staff is truly focused on making the lives of all residents happy and fulfilled. I am thrilled with how many new things my mother is taking advantage of; from workouts and physical training to games, movies, educational programs and Jewish activities. The staff has made the transition from her own home to community living quite warm and welcoming.

My 87 year old friend moved into Mather Place in January of 2020. We got her settled pretty quickly with great assistance from the staff. In March COVID hit and she was confined to her apartment. I would like to commend the facility for helping to keep residents safe, fed and supported during this time. Slowing and safely bringing back opportunities to have human contact with friends and loved ones was done with great thought. I appreciate the diligence in making sure this pandemic did not attack this community of seniors. Nicely done!!!
