Plum Creek Supportive Living offers supportive living. I like the size of the facility. It's not overly large. It's got 101 units. It's privately owned, which was another big selling point. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner served in a dining room. They have nursing staff. They have a doctor on call. They also have a dentist and a podiatrist who come in. They can arrange for physical therapy if needed. There's a place for exercise or group meetings. There are laundry facilities if you want to do your own laundry, or they can do laundry for you. They will clean your apartment. The person who toured me there was very knowledgeable.

Plum Creek was a very warm and smaller facility. They seemed to have good coverage with a nursing staff available 24 hours a day, and a small common area like an indoor patio. They had snacks available all the time and a nice dining room, a library, and a TV room. The rooms were OK, but the hallways were long and narrow, so there’s a lot of walking. There’s an elevator at each end of the building, and the building was rather long, so you had to go down the hallway to get to the nearest elevator. The common areas looked clean and bright and had a lot of windows. The dining area was bright and decorated kind of cute and looked inviting. The thing that impressed me the most was the fact that there was healthcare available. I liked the location near Northwest Community, which is an excellent hospital. They’re very accommodating if you need help financially.
