Granted the home was not brand new or state of the art, but it was very clean and very well maintained. Staff cared deeply for Dad, this was evident when he passed away. 2 of the nurses that were closest to him, were very moved and cried at his passing. The food was freshly prepared, varied, presented well, tasted great. Activities were varied and were of the proper type for the audience that attended. In a nutshell the staff and facility put my brother and my mind at ease knowing that he was well taken care of. Fortunately he was a Veteran, his benefits and pension from his last job took care of everything. Transportation was provided for trips to Walmart or to parks for day trips and to give the people their choice of outings. Medical staff as well as the patients own private physicians were given 24/7 access, all meds were metered out if the patient was not able to maintain themselves.
