We had to take dad to Safe Haven for six weeks. He is getting good care. It’s a very good place with a very large, caring staff able to handle anything. His room is very sparse, more like a hospital room, so they could make it homier. They have a psychiatrist, nurses, and staff who go over each resident's meds weekly to get them right.

My husband is in Safe Haven, a locked down facility. It is a very strange place because it is for mental cases only. When you enter, you hear people screaming. He has a roommate. Since, it is a mental facility, they can’t give him a room to himself, and he is very ill right now. The nurses and the supervisors are very nice. The people that are taking care of him are excellent.
