Lunalilo Homes is in a nice residential area. The home itself is very welcoming, open, very airy and very clean. The staff is awesome, everyone is very helpful. Everybody there gives me the feeling that my husband is being well taken-care of. I sat with him when he ate, the food looked good and he ate well. They also increased what they give him because he's a good eater. Twice a day, they go for walks on the property although right now it's limited to just a few of them because of the virus. They have a gardening area where they can also participate, they have bingo, they have physical activities though usually when I go during lunchtime they don't have too many activities during lunch. They usually do activities in the morning and afternoon.

Lunalilo Home was a nice place. It was old but very well kept. It had nice programs and activities. I liked the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place.

My experience with the Lunalilo Home Assisted Living Facility was very good. At first I was nervous about how my days there would go and what I would take away from the experience. I arrived with a group of people and we were introduced to the staff, then the patients. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, to both us and the patients. We soon felt very comfortable and welcomed by the staff as well as the patients. We started to do crafts with them and talk to them one on one and it was so amazing learning about their life, growing up in Hawaii, as well as across the globe. I remember being nervous that I would walk away feeling down and bad for the patients, almost as if they were stuck there unwillingly. However, it was very nice to see that they were all happy, smiling and laughing with us and the staff all day.

The staff is very friendly. The environment is warm and like an actual home. The furniture is clean and practically new. The facility is kept clean and sterile. The medical assistance provided is of the utmost quality. The facility is spacious and there are many windows everywhere. There seems to be a huge staff that is consistently attentive to the residents of the home. The residents are comfortable and happy. The food is of very good quality and there are many volunteers of the facility. Children and school students visit quite often to entertain or engage in conversation. The bill for the home is of a reasonable amount. The home is however, quote out of reach to those who do not live in that town on that side of the island. The residents also do not get out of the home enough. There should be more outings available for the residents.
