"My mom is already attending Windward Seniors Day Care Hope Center. It's a really great place. The staff is very caring, and they're the highlight of the place. They do exercise, games, singing, bring in people to entertain, have arts and crafts, and go on excursions. My mom enjoys it. They bring in food which I heard is not the greatest, but then I don't expect the food to be outstanding considering that the cost is so low. For what they do, the price is reasonable."

"My mom is staying at Aloha Nursing & Rehab Center as a long-term patient. It's a very good place and the staff is very attentive. She had rehab for a while, and the rehab ended this week. They have a lot of volunteer people singing, playing games and a lot of stuff. She got a shared room with someone else, it's air-conditioned, has a TV and they have very good meals. It's not cheap, that's for sure. The staff members are very nice, they really followed everything up and when you need something they'd get it for you immediately. It's definitely expensive but you're getting everything you paid for."

"My mom recently stayed at Palolo for rehab, and I can’t say enough good things about the care she received. From the moment she arrived, the staff treated her like family. The nurses and aides were attentive, patient, and truly compassionate, always making sure she was comfortable and encouraging her through her recovery. We also appreciated the open communication with the staff, who kept us updated and answered our questions with kindness. "Lunalilo Homes is in a nice residential area. The home itself is very welcoming, open, very airy and very clean. The staff is awesome, everyone is very helpful. Everybody there gives me the feeling that my husband is being well taken-care of. I sat with him when he ate, the food looked good and he ate well. They also increased what they give him because he's a good eater. Twice a day, they go for walks on the property although right now it's limited to just a few of them because of the virus. They have a gardening area where they can also participate, they have bingo, they have physical activities though usually when I go during lunchtime they don't have too many activities during lunch. They usually do activities in the morning and afternoon."

"My mom is with Central Union Church Adult Day Care & Day Health Center now, and it's wonderful. It's very accommodating and there's plenty of help. The food is excellent, everything is excellent. You can go as many times or as few times as you want to go. So if your senior is a morning person you can go in the morning, and if your senior is a late person, you can go later in the day. If your person doesn't want to go, you just call them up and tell them she's not coming. The building is part of the church, so it's quite large. They divide the people according to their interests. There's art and games, they have exercise, and they take them on a walk outside around the area to get fresh air."
