I am/was a resident of this facility

I stayed in Pearl City Nursing Home. The meals are very poor. It's totally unorganized. It's a hit and miss; whenever they feel like doing it. They are so set in their ways, and they have outdated equipment. They're friendly, but they need more training, and they don't have courtesy. They are set in their ways. I think they're more centered on their jobs, rather than the patient. They have a shared room. The facility is maintained but it's old. We have bingo, arts and crafts.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom broke her hip and she was in Pearl City Nursing Home for a couple months. Their facilities were good but she didn't like the food. The rooms are good for 4 people, there are two people on each side of the room separated by a curtain. The staff members were all good ones, I don't think there's one that isn't. They're all nice and compassionate, and my mom had no complaints.

I visited this facility

Pearl City Nursing Home was alright. What I like about it is the service that they give and that it is convenient and accessible from my home.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mom is in Pearl City after surgery for short-term rehab. She likes it there. She gets physical therapy, occupational therapy, and medications. The place is really clean. They have Bingo and gardening. The staff is very good and they assist her all the time. The physical therapist is good, too. There is no area outside for residents to enjoy, just the sidewalk.
