Understaffed, the little staff in charge positions know nothing about the residents well being or needs. Not because they are not being informed but because the residents are not their main priority. RNs getting paid to be in charge come in at 9am talk to no one and sit another 45 minutes in office eating breakfast sit and talk with certain CNA s for hours while call lights go unanswered 😥 i wouldn't wish this on my enemy.

The staff is excellent, caring, professional, compassionate, and kind. The apartments are very clean. There are two persons to a room, and they share a bathroom, but it is very clean. It's an older facility, but the presentation is warm and comfortable. It's a country, comfortable, dorm, friendly type environment. My brother went there at 100 pounds; now he weighs 118 pounds. He is from the North, so he is very particular about food. They had done remarkably well with what food they had to give him. They do awesome. The food is excellent for him. They could use more funding. I think they are not recognized as to what a good nursing home they are. They're doing remarkably well with what they have. It's a smaller nursing home, and I don't think they have a staff turnover or a patient turnover.
