My brother became a resident of Chaplin Wood in February 2024. He received amazing care from the nurses and other staff members. They were always available to answer my questions and provide any assistance I requested. I was kept in form of my brother‘s condition at all times. I would highly recommend this facility Due to the caring and concern they show their residence.

I have chosen Chaplinwood Nursing Home for my father. So far, they've been great to him. The nurses are great. It's not extremely clean, but it's clean enough. But I think the floor in his room needs to be mopped more, although, I guess they do the best they can. His room is small and there's no way for anybody to stay the night or anything. My father is not eating very much, but they're giving him whatever he'll eat. They do have a common area and a dining area.

My relative has been here only 6 months and they've been attacked from what my relative says by a resident roommate who was more mobile and now a staff physically slapped them and let them fall to the floor. They were moved to another room with another resident who is similar physically. They said they were in so much pain and the head nurse and nurse was told during visit. I saw no pain meds given during visit. Also, family requested to fill out a report several times. None was given...The stars were given based on these circumstances and what relative has said...

My friend doesn't own a cell phone and for the last 3 years I called him on Chaplin woods cordless phone.Lately for the past two months I'm told the cordless phone is broken.Two months with a broken cordless phone seems extremely cheap!

We were really impressed with Chaplinwood. They have lots of programs for the patients. The staff were all very nice and knowledgeable.
