I would first like to start by saying that I am very grateful for the facility that my grandmother is able to stay in. The facility itself does try to improve on it's cleanliness, and upkeep. At times during my visit I have gotten the impression that some of the workers feel a bit unappreciated and by feeling that way it shows in there service to the patients. Some workers treat my grandmother as if she were apart of their family, but there have been others that don't do anything at all for her unless I am up there. The administration and other staff members have come to know my family, so they always try there best to make sure my grandmother has everything she needs. I just wish it weren't that way though, because in the end what happens to the residents that don't have family available to visit them often...do they just get pushed aside?
