We went to Linwood Estates. They have worked with us financially. It's a big help. The room was larger than a lot that we had looked at. Plus, they had their own patio and balcony to go out on. I had a meal there and it was good. It was decent and it was better than I expected. That day, I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and a tomato with Parmesan cheese. It's beautiful. It was decorated so nicely. It was seasonally decorated, so it had stuff everywhere, which I love. It's a very nice property, so I was impressed when I walked in the front door. They had a movie theater. I know that they play bingo and things like that. One reason why we picked them is that the staff were super sweet.

Sale person lies to get you to move in with the approval of their management. Most staff quit. Food is unedible. Their website states it offers meals prepared by a chef when in reality any staff member cooks your meals. Food looks like something a dog won't eat. Building and rooms are cleaned by one person and the manager. Don't expect deep cleaning.

We have chosen Linwood Estates Gracious Retirement Living for my mother-in-law. It was very nice. There were a lot of nice people there and some of the residents we talked to were very happy there. They have a pool, a library, and a gym.

My mother has been there for 4 months, this place is amazing. The activities are well thought out plans and the residents enjoy them. The place is always clean and decorated for the season. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a great place to live.

My family that lives there are treated poorly by the other residents who's racism slips out way to often and some staff. My family members who still lives there are always asked if they work there just because most of the lower paid staff are African American. I understand that most of the residents and staff are conservative, but when people are paying upwards of $5k monthly, everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. Some staff members are great, the facility is clean and the residents get 3 meals a day.

This facility is clean, good food and a very caring and friendly staff. Extra help for those who need extra self-help assistance can get it through a partner group for additional but reasonable charge. My dad is very happy here and has been living at Linwood for over a year. They look after him, love on him, and are always very helpful for anything we have asked for. They make holidays special, decorate the facility beautifully, and it feels like home . Very glad that my dad is here!
