Regency Park would be the best bang for your buck. I liked the appearance of the place and its colors. It was clean. Most of the staff were very friendly and smiling. They have a gym, a pool, an arts and crafts room, and a theater. The food service was very slow though. They seemed to have a problem with getting staffed.

Regency Park blew me right away. I can't complain about anything. It was the best. They had a bigger choice of rooms than anybody else had. They had more selection of what you wanted. I got to see a one-bedroom apartment and a studio apartment. I liked them both. I would have gotten to a one-bedroom apartment because it was bigger. It was very nice and laid out nice. They had modern equipment in them. They had full kitchens. I talked to a lot of the staff and a lot of the residents there. Everybody seemed to be happy there. It was a nice feeling and it's a nice place. You feel comfortable in there. The food was good, too. They have so many restaurants. I can't believe it. This was unbelievable. I've never seen a home like this. This was the best and the prices were comparable to everybody else. It was landscaped nicely. The parking was good all around. It was very clean. It was very easy to get around. It was big.

I like Regency Park and thought they were very nice. I like the ambiance, particularly the food; the food is very good. The person who gave the tour was very good. The rooms all had the microwave, stove, refrigerator, and laundry machines. There's a gym and two pools available there.

I'm considering Regency Park. It was a very nice tour. The girl was very nice and obliging. She showed me two units, a one-bedroom, and another one with a den. All the amenities were very nice. They impressed me quite a bit. I thought it was very good. They had all kinds of things going on every day, something new. The workout facilities were nice, and their library was nice. As far as the dining went, it was a little different because they give you a certain amount of money to spend per month, as opposed to some places where it's just automatically included. They give you a certain amount of money per month as your payment, and that's how you work the food.

My wife and her brother picked Regency Park as they thought it was best in the area even though 45 minutes away. Central AC hasnt worked for a long time and a temporary window unit was put in. It was removed months later upon being advised that central unit was working. They keep sending people and still not working with no back up. Mother in law suffered ongoing bug bites all last summer as temporary unit was not sealed off in window opening. Currently trying to get her furnishings moved out but very uncomfortable trying to work in those conditions. No call backs from office as to when problems will be fixed. Tried getting a few meals recently and food is good but cant seem to get a glass of unsweetened ice tea. Always get this syruppy sweet stuff instead.

I visited Regency Park with my Aunt. We were treated with the utmost respect. The staff was so friendly. There was a lot of activities the residents were participating in. We were given a superb dinner which made my Aunt very happy. The new renovations in the community are absolutely gorgeous. It reminded my Aunt of her favorite country club. The apartments were the perfect size for her. I would say this is the favorite one for her. I can't wait for her to move in.

My mother is at Regency Park. She's doing fine. They have games, a pool, an exercise room, a game room, courtyards, and three meals a day during the week. It's pretty much what everybody else offers. They need to vary the food menu. It's a good value.

Like most, it is no longer a true independent living facility. Wheel chairs, scooters and wheeled walkers crowd the hallways along with many live in and day time aids. All to avoid the added expense of assisted living or the more depressing aspects of them or a nursing home. Staff is friendly and usually helpful. Our apartment is nice, but overpriced for the square footage. Small screened balcony nice. Building is 16 years old so if move here make sure appliances and AC/HEAT have been updated. Contract says clean windows annually. Doesn't happen. Says change AC filter at least quarterly.....if you remember to ask! Maintenance overworked, have to ask for repairs several times to get done. Director can't approve much, must go to Corporate which is slow to act...I question their ability to run this type facility. This is a mandatory evacuation zone. We were billed $750 for evacuation September, 1, 2019 to Orlando by charted bus. No explanation or details. Repeated requests go unanswered. Corporate simply doesn't care. Charge covered one night in Hilton and bus ride to/from total about $300. How do they justify the rest? We paid additional 2 nights room + food. They gave us 2 nights food. Pizza and Chinese. They promised 3 meals/day. We got 2 meals noted above. There are plenty of activities. Participation is personal. Typically, these facilities have 15% to 20% men to 80% women. When you factor in mental/physical condition, men's activities are limited. The most difficult aspect of living here is the food. For those with lost taste buds, no problem. Chef/food planner don't seem to understand many elderly have sensitive stomachs, developed lactose intolerance or acid/reflux disease etc. Food is way over spiced, too much salt or pepper which can be left to resident. Too many dishes cooked with over spiced creams, sauces, gravies. Rolls often "hockey pucks". Desserts are OK. Baked potato's are sticky not fluffy. Mashed potato's taste awful...don't know why. Vegetables are overcooked or under cooked, coarse or mushy. A basic salad is hard to mess up. Soups generally good but sometimes over seasoned with pepper
Be advised.

Comment: Great place, but beware R.P.'s surprise Hurricane Surcharge.....After Dorian threatened in Aug. '19, cost of building & exterior storm preparations were passed on to renters: $500 for single apt, $750 for couple. Why? "Expenses were over what Corp. budgeted"...What if there's more than one storm next year? Some call it elderly "gouging"

I moved here from another, local, independent living facility a year ago and am very much happier here. The apartments are smaller but they have wonderful screened-in balconies that make up for it. I really prize that balcony. The food is MUCH better here; the chef and kitchen staff try to please us, to use good quality ingredients, and to be as flexible as possible. I feel the residents are generally a better class, and many other features are superior as well. The attitude of management is definitely more interested in my welfare. Presently, the whole place is getting a decorative facelift (note: this is happening before it was absolutely necessary). Like anywhere, the staff is mixed but always adequate, mostly friendly and helpful. I am glad I moved here.

My mother has a one-bedroom apartment at Regency Park and everybody has been amazing and has been helping her get situated. It's been a good experience. The staff members helped her get acclimated to her new surroundings and introduced other residents to her. Tonight they had a welcome dinner for the new residents, and it was very well received. They have bingo, water aerobics, there's a heated pool, gym, library, and a movie theater.

I visited this place several times before deciding I wanted to make a major move, I ate lunch here a couple of times which was good. The apartment size is small compared to other facilities but I like the balcony/porch which is screened in and enjoyable. However, the food is terrible. Continental breakfast consists of plastic cups for coffee, plastic bowls for cereal and pastries. I was always told breakfast is the most important meal of the day - not here. Dinner is a waiting game thinking food is cooked to order, salad/soup are ok but the entree has yet to come out hot - the vegetables are either overcooked or under-cooked, "baked" potatoes are steamed. The dessert is a finger slice of whatever. Not worth money

I was very taken with Regency Park after seeing other places. It was wonderful. We had salad for lunch, and the food and service were fine. I found the place very attractive and well-run, and I liked the layout. The staff was most cordial and pleasant, including the people who live there and the chef. It's the best, otherwise I won't be going there. This is the only place that had a screened-in porch that was large enough to put a little more than just a tiny chair and table, so you can enjoy being outside while being in there. It had a suburban type of setting, with cottages as well as a couple of buildings. I like that I could go as a renter instead of laying down more money.

My mother found Regency Park and she loves it. She's in independent living. It's a nice luxury hotel, with beautiful apartments, and lots of things for them to do. They take them to places, and to doctors within 11 miles. The staff is exceptional, they have housekeeping once a week, and maintenance if she need anything. They have a pool, gym, and they play Bingo and cards. I highly recommend it.

We visited Regency Park, and the place was very nice, but it was very costly. The staff was very friendly. They had several dining rooms, and they were very nice as well. The room that I saw was a two-bedroom with a living room and kitchen, and it was nice.

The staff at Regency Park was friendly. They had a pool, a salon, an intimate dining room, a more casual dining area, a movie theater, a craft room, and a card room. It was a very beautiful, newer place than the other one I've visited.

Regency Square was great, but my mom was not ready for it. It was really beautiful and had a really nice atmosphere. Their bus brings about 11 people to our church every Sunday. It was a first-class place, and you could not ask for nicer. They were kind enough to offer a free haircut in their beauty salon. I gave the coupon to my mother, who said she would not go.

We're planning to move to Regency Park in the very near future. It was excellent. We loved it. Our tour was wonderful. The tour guide, Marilyn, did a great job and has been most helpful. We love the place and we're looking forward to moving in there. Everything is wonderful, the entrance is beautiful and the whole complex itself is lovely. We had a choice of apartments and we found one that suited us perfectly. The dining room, the food, and the amenities are terrific. There are a lot of great activities.

Regency Park has 24/7 medical care/availability. They have a zero-entry pool, walking trails, fitness area, arts, crafts, woodworking, games, senior tours, and they have a first floor bar that opens up everyday at 4:00. They also have a movie theater that sits about 45 people and they're planning on expanding their fitness area. What impressed me was the way they approached their service for the people that live there. There's an emergency pull string, and they check on everybody every morning.

We went to The Regency Park. It's like a 5-star; it is an expensive place. It was huge and roomy. The apartments were nice. The amenities were excellent. The food was excellent. You could tell it was a five-star. The staff was very good too. They're very friendly and open. They answered all my questions. They also provided lunch. They had all kinds of activities. They had ping-pong, table games, card games, bingo, and dances. Overall, the facility was excellent.

My great grandmother was a resident of this facility in the later years of her life before she passed away. I visited this community once, which was also the last time I saw her. However, despite the briefness of my visit here, it left quite the impression on me. The residents seemed to genuinely enjoy being there, and had a rapport with the administration which I have not seen in many other places. The general staff also seemed very committed to their work and helping these people live as comfortably as they possibly could. I honestly couldn't pick a better place to have my relatives live in, knowing that they would be cared for with the utmost courtesy and professionalism by a staff that truly understands the necessity of what it is they do and take pride in their incredibly important work. I hope to one day visit again, and see that same happiness
