"My husband was at Cranes mill for almost 4 weeks and neither of us can say enough good things about the facility. The staff was the best I've ever dealt with. I have a health care background and have worked in several facilities and have visited many others, this sub-acute was the best I've seen in years. It was clean and friendly and each staff member that we came in contact with was very helpful. I would suggest Cranes Mill to anyone. I contacted Social worker at St Barnabus hospital and gave her my gratitude for recommending this facility for my husbands recovery."

"My father in law moved from a large house in Cape Cod, to Fellowship Village Independent Living. He loved his independence and his apartment was large and near everything he was interested in, the gym, swimming pool and dining room. He eventually had to move to Assisted Living in the Memory Care unit where he has 24 hour care and still lives in his own apartment where he has his independence as well as any help he needs. The head of the "household" is wonderful and loves all the residents. She is always talking with the residents, taking care of any of their needs and she is always happy and laughing with the residents. They have become her family!! The nursing assistants and the nurse are there 24/7. We have no worries about the care my father in law is getting, and there are so many activities every day for the residents. They can choose if they want to participate in any of the activities and bus rides. They have all their meals served in a dining room and the food is good!! Any need that my father in law has, they are taking care of it. My father in law is in the best, capable hands in the Memory Care Unit and he is living a wonderful life!! We have him at our house 2 times a week for family dinners, and we visit his apartment on the other days as much as possible. We take him out on the weekends as well. The staff always knows where he is and they are on top of all his care. This is a wonderful place to have your loved ones live if they are in need of this type of living!!"

"My mom was a resident of Downtown Brooklyn Nursing and Rehabilitation. It was clean. They're very attentive. The exercise rehab has made her stronger. So she was able to recover faster by walking around and getting stronger and I was very satisfied with that. I think the main activity is just to get the person more mobile, to get them to walk around more, and get them stronger. The staff is very professional and attentive because they're always checking in and making sure everything is okay. The only negative was the food. The food was not good. Somebody did a survey for them. I told them that they needed to change the caterer for the place, or whatever that food has to change."

"My mother was in Buena Vida before. They were nice, and I liked them. The only problem she ever had was that when she wasn't feeling well and they were trying to make her do physical therapy. The good side of it was everything that happened to my mother, they were quick to call me. Like the first morning she was there, she fell, and they called me at 6:30 in the morning to let me know what happened. The staff was friendly and nice, and they all loved my mother. It was clean. "

"The staff at Cedar Crest was very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very lovely. I have tried eating there, and the food was very good. The dining room is lovely as well. I wasn't able to observe any activities during the visit but there were many. I was impressed by the number of community buildings. It is quite a large community. I am impressed by the number of building devoted to activities and restaurants for this very large senior living facility. "

"A loved one is at The Holland Christian Home. Everybody loves it, they're wonderful. The staff, the care, the cleanliness, the food, are excellent. They have all kinds of activities, buses take them places, and they have a big auditorium. They are involved with the Christian Reform Church, so they have group services. They have a wonderful staff. They just added a whole new wing and it's beautiful. Everybody has their own room in the acute care section, and it is wonderful. The food is very good."
