My mother-in-law is staying at Masonicare in Wallingford. She is in long-term care, and they're very good and accommodating. She is in a newer room that they had remodeled. It's a beautiful facility, and their staff is very good. The food is mediocre but they're very good at keeping the residents active. They also go out in the community and things like that.

It was a community of varying living options, like cottages and free-standing villas and apartments. They had all kinds of amenities. We had lunch there, and the food was very good. The dining room was very attractive. The residents we met seemed to be very happy and very enthusiastic about their living situation there.

My mother has been placed in Masonicare. The experience has been very positive. They’re very professional. The surroundings are rural, which is nice, and I like that. They have pretty much everything my mother needs. They have movies, games, exercise classes, and outings. My mother is entertained well. Also, we like this facility because it offers continuing care.

I visited Masonic Healthcare Center, and I think it tops of all the places I have looked at. It offered more options for what I would want.
