My mom moved into The Landing of North Haven. I'm pleased with their level of care and attention for my mother. She has been in the hospital a few times since she's been there, and they followed through by calling us and figuring out what the appropriate actions should be. I'm pleased. It's clean, and they care for her. The activities kept her busy. She would rather be at home, but this is the closest thing we could get to home. It's a one-bedroom that she shares. She shares the bathroom, but she has her own private room. It fits a bed, two chairs, and a dresser, and seems adequately sized for her needs. They have two dining areas. There's a separate dining area for the memory care center, and it's nice. They don't put down the cutlery things, I think, due to the type of people in that area, because of dementia or Alzheimer's. It looked nice, and the food seemed good. I haven't personally eaten the food, but I've been there at mealtimes, and it looks nice. All the staff seem happy to help my mother. They're bathing, wheeling, and placing her where she needs to go. They're clothing her and meeting her daily care needs. The facility is very nice and clean. We went to a number of places, and this was one of the cleaner ones. The activities for the memory care are limited, and I think my mom has not loved all of them.

We went to The Landing of North Haven. The facility was really beautiful. It was nice and airy. They sent me some cookies, and the cookies were good. The rooms were big enough. They looked comfortable. The place itself was very clean. The staff was wonderful. Everybody was wonderful.

The Landing of North Haven has been a wonderful addition to my moms life. She was skeptical at first about leaving her home of 52 years, but has grown to love The Landing. She has made friends in the community and the staff from managers, care staff, all the way to the front desk are always so polite and helpful. The food has also been great with my mom calling me on a nightly basis to tell me what she has for dinner and always has nothing but the best things to say about her meals. We have also attended some of their family functions and the food is always great! They also keep busy with numerous activities a day and outings throughout the week. Overall, The Landing has become a part of our family and my mom is happy to now call it home.

My dad stayed at The Landing of North Haven for about a year. He didn't like the fact that he lost his home to go into assisted living, so he didn't have a good opinion of it initially, but he came to like it after a while. They have live music 2 or 3 times a week and a happy hour a couple of times a week. They have strengthening exercises, movie night, people who come in, and a recreational area for ping pong, pool cards, and bingo. They have a lot to do. The staff members were all very professional and kind. They are a little expensive.

We are very happy with The Landing of North Haven. The facility is brand new and lovely. The staff is excellent. My mom's room is beautifully appointed. She has her own room and bathroom. They have a nine-step program that they focus on with those people with dementia which includes exercises, music, and art. There is a beauty salon and two outdoor lovely patios in each area, too.
