The staff at Duncaster seemed to be a bit overworked and didn’t seem to pay enough attention to us. Everybody was just too busy to show us around. I wasn’t impressed at all. The dining area was OK. The residents seemed OK and satisfied. The place was clean and neat and had nice scenery since it was located in a nice spot on a hill, but it was not convenient to walking anywhere. It had a bus that would take the residents out.

I went to Duncaster for my parents and very much enjoyed the facility. I liked the setup and talked to several nice people. They have a medical facility with a doctor there. I loved that place. If I was at that age, I would seriously consider going there. Duncaster is top-notch as far as I’m concerned.

Duncaster was extremely nice community. It is geared towards people who can live independently but those that also those who need assisted living. The tourguide showed me the apartments and almost the entire community without an appointment. They have excellent , friendly staff.

This facility is rather new with the elderly built into the contraction. There is extensive patient care and security features. The staff is very attentive and well trained to care for people with complicated heath care needs. One of the greatest aspects of this living community is that there are several levels of care included. This ranges from non-assisted living to full on specialized nursing on a 24/7 basis. It is in effect a self contained community for the 65+. Care levels can adjust with a person aging and is uniquely tailored to move at the past of any individual. From what I've seen thus far the activity directors do a wonderful job at keeping the environment very stimulating for the residents. The only routine aspect of this facility seems to be the healthcare of the residents themselves. The social and physical aspects of daily life at this residence is very atypical of what you might find in a facility like this.
