Traditions at Englewood was very good, except there was a snafu with the approval process, and they denied my application. The upkeep of the place was excellent. The rooms were very pleasant. They don't have a dining area. They had a theater and a library. The staff was outstanding. They had a very nice underground parking.

Traditions at Englewood is all independent living. I think the community layout is very nice. Each floor is unique in its decorations. The residents were very friendly. They're looking at the possibility of developing an activities program for them as well, but they have a wonderful game and workout room. They have a theater. They have all kinds of great things to offer anybody that wants to live there. They have one- and two-bedrooms. The apartment is quite sufficient for maybe a married couple if they choose to have a second bedroom. The second bedroom is on the smaller side. It could be used as an office or maybe somebody that's just visiting. There is no food available. Everyone was quite nice. Since their community is pretty diverse as far as ages go, even though it is a 62-plus community, I would probably suggest activities for those that may not go out very often. I think that would be a pretty good idea rather than them going to the onsite library or their game room, but just having activities for those that want to have more of a community feel, getting to know their neighbors. There are a few people that might want to know who live on floor 4 or floor 2 and be able to communicate, maybe go out to dinner together, or just have more of a camaraderie.
