"My mom is in Brittany House. It is five miles from my brother's house, so it is convenient for him. They are very accommodating. It has four different sections, and the one you're in depends on your level of care. She has dementia, and she needs the one she's at. It's two people in a room. In my mom's unit, there are 28 people, and the food is only for the 28 of them. They have a very good cook there, and the food is very good. "

"The studio rooms were nice and had a sink and a little refrigerator. They had puzzles. The staff was nice and helpful. The dining area was pretty big, and the menu looked good. The place was very clean. The gardens were nice, green, and lush."

"I toured Beach Terrace Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was bright with lots of natural sunlight. The interior, the way it was decorated was beautiful. The common space was huge. It just feels so welcoming. I saw the menu and it looked like a menu at a restaurant. What was on the menu was pretty interesting, like salmon, asparagus, squash, and stuff like that. I saw a shared room. It was nice. I like the semi-private room, and the room on each side was huge. You can really put a six-seating dining room table and a full-size bed. The shared bathroom was in between and they had doors from each side of the room for the bathroom. They had a big picture window. The staff was so gracious. He was so informative. The tour was guided by the guy who worked there, but the guy that I already had was the one who took me. He was the one who was already familiar with the place, and between what I heard and what I saw, I was more impressed with Beach Terrace."

"My husband's mother was a resident here. We wanted to move her closer to us, and we came across Westminster Terrace almost by accident. It's a lovely facility, all the way around. And the people are very concerned, happy and attentive. Her room was very roomy, with a nice large window with a great view. They have very nice accommodations in all aspects of their extended services, including a lovely private dining room / living room for private parties. The entire staff was wonderful, and very accommodating to individual needs. The food was excellent, and you will enjoy their parties! All of the people there care very much about the work they do. You could not find a better place for your loved one. "

"The nursing staff and social worker took fantastic care of my Mother in Law. They were very kind and patient with her. She was significantly under weight upon her arrival and they were able to get her to eat, and gain weight. The therapies they provided helped her to gain strength and she became more steady on her feet. The rooms are decorated to suit each individual resident, and the the patients participate in Art projects that are displayed through out the center. I would highly recommend this facility as they are experts in caring for loved ones with dementia, including those that have behaviors. They cared for my Mother-in-law like she was their own family. She laughed and smiled more during her time there, than she had for many months prior."

"My dad and my sister were residents of Artesia Christian Home. The facility is spotless. They've got a good, great staff, and they're very accommodating. They had maybe a small bump in the road every once in a while, but other than that, things were fine. Their staff was excellent. They're very friendly. They're very quick to help in critical situations. We're just really pleased with them. They loved the food. The kitchen staff was excellent, too. They put on quality products. They've got a little open area of patios. If you want to meet your family there, they have a nice place for you to meet. They also have little meeting areas throughout the home. There's a nice, quiet neighborhood around there. So if you want to take a walk around the block, you can. My father used to do that quite regularly and he enjoyed it. They have Bible studies there. They have group activities. They bring people in throughout the month as far as there might be a Bible teacher who comes in, maybe motivational people. They do little exercise classes. They keep the residents busy. This is the thing about it. The folks were bathed. They're washed. They're dressed and they're ready at a time in the morning when they're serving breakfast. So, everybody comes out there, they're dressed, they're clean, and that's how they start your day. They got the staff doting over them for the rest of the day. They've got a little aviary. It's a big bird cage and they keep that very active. I love the variety of the little birds that they put in there. They have a little garden area if you want to grow some tomatoes or put something like that."

"Rowntree Gardens meets the needs that we are looking for my dad. The staff understands what entails to care for a memory care resident. My dad is in a shared room. It is adequate, and it meets his needs. He likes the food. They have activities like music and arts & crafts. Their communication skills stand out. "

"I'm very happy with Meadowlark Gardens I. It's a board and care home with a total of 6 patients, and for my mom's care, I think it's wonderful. The room is lovely, and they take excellent care. It's a lovely facility with a lovely patio. Everybody has their own bedrooms, the caregivers are fabulous, and Mom loves her food."
