Well i thought this was going to be a nice facility from the out side of it. The grass was well trimmed, the outside decor was very nice. The building was freshly painted. When we got in the first girl from the nursing staff almost knocked me over she was walking so fast past us, I understand sometimes things need to be in a rush but my grandfather, whom I was with, is 86 years old and if she ran into him then he might have became a resident as well. She was not appologetic about the accident at all. After that we went to my grandmothers room which was nice. It was well lit and she had a lot of pictures of friends and family set up around her side of it. The nurse that was getting her dressed and ready was very kind and soft spoken. My grandmothers roommate was cheerful too. We went with her to eat lunch in the cafeteria and the nurse that was helping feed her was not paying attention to what she was doing. She kept looking around, she spilt food on my grandmother when it was neccessary. I ended up offering to help so she could tend to another resident. I hope they don't feed the same people every day. The food was pretty good for being a 'hospital food'. I even tried a bite. One nurse did offer my grandfather and I coffee or tea if we wanted it during the meal which was thoughful. I think they just needed to tighten up their staff to really be treating the patients with the best care.
