My mother went to Valley Haven in Lompoc for 4 years. As her Dementia progressed she became socially isolated and dropped out of her clubs and activities. Valley Haven gave my mother a safe place to spend her day in the company of other seniors. They picked her up from her home in the morning and dropped her off in the afternoon. She received snacks and meals, played games, made crafts, went on outings and was entertained by visiting pets and musicians. Mom always looked forward to her day at Valley Haven.
