"My dad has been at Vineyard Hills Health Center for 2 weeks now. They are very attentive to his needs. They have a very good and very knowledgeable staff, and they have a lot of staff members. They have a great therapy program and a speech therapy program, and he's doing very well there. My father is happy with the food that they serve."

"I have a Auntie that is moving into this senior apartment complex. We met with the manager and toured the property. I feel my family member will be in a safe little community. Yes they are smaller but this is ALL the room she needs. With each room being very spacious for her.... A living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and Nice size bathroom! Huge closet! New carpet was just installed and freshly painted. A Recreation room not far from her room with activities thru out the week and a work out area and also a van to take her the places she needs to go also. Quite cozy for her as she agreed coming from a large home that she shared with her husband before his passing. I know she’ll be happy here. Oh also I might add that her bank is walking distance and the local Hospital is right across the street literally. And the manager here I have to say is the best very Gracious person. Thank You!! "

"Two months ago, my husband and I moved in at Southbay Maxi Care. It's a small facility but everything is pretty good. The staff are really fine and they seem to do their best. The food is not wonderful, but it's alright. One thing that we don't like it here though is that we're not allowed to cook. We have a common microwave in the facility which everyone uses to reheat food. "

"A Touch Above Care is a small boarding care home with only 6 residents, and there are not a whole lot of amenities. They have a very caring staff, and they're really taking good care of my mom. We're much happier here than where we were before. I think this place is great. It is very clean and beautiful, located way out in the country up in the hills, quiet with beautiful views, and very nice. They serve all home-cooked meals, and Mom is really happy with the food. There is a sun room where they do activities, crafts, and puzzles. There is also a patio where the residents can go out to. They also have cats, dogs, and a parrot. The place is well maintained."

"My mom lived at Paradise Valley Care for three years. I moved her there from a facility which had little interaction between staff and resident. Paradise Valley was completely different. Mom and I know all the caregivers by name. They are consistently helpful and compassionate. The med techs inform me of any change in Mom’s health. I have never visited when she was not dressed and clean; and I visit quite a lot. I would definitely recommend Paradise Valley to anyone who desires full and compassionate care for their loved one."

"My wife is in Harvest Senior Living, LLC #2. They're very good. She's been there for a year now. They have a very nice facility, good food, and the caregivers are excellent. They have music, arts, trips to the beach and those sorts of things. They have a TV room. They don't have salons or anything like that, but they have people that come in and do their nails or hair or whatever if they need it. Cleanliness is just fine."

"A Heavenly Home in Union Road was very nice and very clean. My mom would have had to share a bathroom if she'll move there, but her bedroom would open up to its own private patio. So, that would have been very nice. I think she would have been happy there. The staff was very friendly and very understanding. I was happy to see them taking meals all in one room and my mom would have been able to use the toaster oven in the morning with assistance (as she likes to do that). The bathroom was all well kept and clean as well as the outside appearance, the yard, and everything else. I was very impressed by that."

"You own your home here at Quail Run Estates and this is where I've been since 2012. It's a beautiful place. They keep it up very nicely. The people that run it are very nice, too. They have swimming and pickleball. Every time there's a holiday, they have some kind of a big thing. For the Super Bowl, everybody brought something and they watched the Super Bowl at the clubhouse. Yesterday was garbage day. I called and said, "The garbage man came by and put down the garbage can and it fell over and I can't go down there." I explained the situation and they took care of it. It's all done. They make sure that everybody follows the rules. There are no cars on the street (once in a while, somebody visits you for a short time, though). No working on your car anywhere unless it's in a closed-in area like your garage. It's clean. The roads are kept up. Some trees are beautiful in this area. It's just very nice and we're very happy. There are no steps or stairs. There are beautiful patios."

"We toured Atascadero Christian Community and are waiting for a room to become available. We chose it because of the friendliness of the staff and the perfect accommodations. Overall, it was the best we’ve looked at. They had an exercise room, arts and crafts room, a beautiful outdoor facility with big deck chairs, Wi-Fi throughout the place, and private dining rooms for visiting families. "

"My mother was in a smaller facility which wasn't working out so when we found Park Place and met the owner and administrator we knew right away we had found the perfect fit. She had a beautiful large private room and was allowed to keep her dog there. So far we have no complaints about the staff or the meals. Park Place rates an A+ in my book."
