"Springfield Crossings was OK. It was a way to walk from the parking lot to the building. The rooms to me were kind of small and it was under construction, so I didn't understand that one, but the person that gave the tour was pretty nice. He's a very knowledgeable young guy. Next door to the facility was a nursing home that was available for the residents. If something were to happen to your loved one, they can be taken there, which I thought was pretty good since it was convenient. The dining area was nice and clean as well. Then they have a private room if you have family members that stopped by."

"My mom is at Chestnut Ridge, and they have been taking care of her very well. She is in a nice room, but sometimes when I visit her there it doesn’t smell good as she is a little incontinet. As far as her medications and meals, they do stay on top of those things."

"Sunrise of Westtown is an excellent facility with superb services. My ex-husband's room is very neat, almost like a five-star hotel. The dining area is sufficient and large enough for everybody to be accommodated. When we made a special booking for family, they set up a special table for us. They also have a bigger dining area which they made available for us when we needed some legal services to be taken care of, and that included beverages and snacks. The food is excellent and the residents can choose whatever they wish to have off of a menu. They have several activities like movie nights, and they have programs for people who need cognitive care. They have physical, occupational, and speech therapy, which are all marvellous. The staff is very cordial."

"I have a lovely apartment in Independent Living. It is spacious and looks out onto our lovely campus. The staff have been helpful, especially during COVID-19. The activities are extensive in many areas - art, fitness, books, current events, etc. Start a group if you wish a new activity. Performers and movies abound on weekends. The art studios are exceptionally large and well-stocked. There is a pool, mini-golf course, tennis courts."

"The rooms were small in Ivy Gables. However, it was decorated beautifully and clean. I didn’t see a lot of interactions; I only saw six people, and they looked like they had memory issues. They have a comprehensive program for medication and care, but the price is a little high. The dining area was very nice and looked dignified and classy. "

They had a craft room, a greenhouse, a gym, a very large living room, little nooks on each floor that had books and puzzles, a library, and a room if your family wanted to come and eat. It was three floors, and the rooms were very big. It was like your own home. The staff was nice. I was able to go outside and walk around."

"Daylesford Crossing seemed new and clean. The rooms were nice. They had an activity room and a library. The dining area was very nice and looked like a restaurant. I did not have a meal, but they showed us the menu, and there was a lot of variety. The staff was very nice."

"My cousin moved into Merrill Gardens at West Chester. We chose it because the price was good, and the community seemed very active. The place is very well-kept. They have a movie theater, a diner, a salon, a pub, a game room, and pool tables. She's in a studio room, which is very nice and well-kept. I have tried the food there and it's good. It seems to establish more of a community than just a general senior home, and I've visited quite a few."

"Sunrise of Paoli is the best we found for mom. She's been there for 2 months now. Its 10 minutes away from my house. We had some food, it was nice. They have multiple choices. The food is served well. They take the residents on outings. For indoor activities, there's music and cooking classes. This place is excellent. "

They have a bocce court outside and when it's nice weather, it would be really nice for them to be outside. They've gone really out of their way to be helpful and welcoming to my parents."
