I live out of state and had to rely on the staff at Brookdale to help setup my mother's room. My mother has no computer or smart phone so the Brookdale staff worked with me during this entire process. I emailed them furniture pictures and sizes and they would print everything out for my mother's approval. They emailed me back room dimensions and photographs to help in furniture selection. Their patience and understanding during this challenging process was outstanding. They have also been so friendly and understanding as I have asked numerous questions about the social programs and activities. They even helped arrange a Zoom meeting with my mother so I could see her and take a virtual "tour" of her room. Overall, the staff there have all been so warm and friendly and bend over backwards to help. I am confident my mother is being well cared for. As a side note, the meals there sound outstanding! My mother's descriptions of what she is eating often makes me very hungry!

My dad will be moving into Brookdale Russellville. The first thing my husband noticed was that it didn't smell like a nursing home. It smelled clean, not medicinal or anything like that. The people were very welcoming whenever we got there. We toured one of the model apartments, and then we also went into one of the studio apartments that my dad would possibly go into because he's going to need extra care. I was very impressed with the facility. The apartments were like very small apartments. There was a living area, which included a refrigerator and a microwave. There was a separate bedroom and a separate bathroom. The bathroom is handicapped-compliant, like you can wheel a wheelchair in it. It was very well put together. The studio apartment had a bathroom that was the same as the other one. The room was large enough that they could have a small bed and then some living room furniture. It had a fridge and a microwave in it. The closet was fairly large as well. The staff member was wonderful. She did an excellent job. She said that they have a chef who prepares the food, so it's all cooked right there. They serve three meals a day. She said that lunch is like the bigger meal, and then they have larger meals at dinner time. The facility was spotless.

I was extremely impressed with the staff and the facility itself in Brookdale Russellville. I'm recommending it to my brother. It was clean, everybody seemed to be very knowledgeable about their positions, and everybody knew everybody. There weren't any strangers there. I looked at a small efficiency room and another one that was a little bit larger. I met the activities director too and she was in the process of having an exercise class with some older ladies. There was a good rec room with a pool table and exercise equipment, an outside courtyard, an exercise area, and a library where they can put puzzles together or whatever they want to do. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. What impressed me was they seemed to be well established in their profession. There were no youngsters or anything. Everybody knew everyone and they seemed to know what they were talking about. I got good vibes.

I went to Brookdale Russellville. The staff was very helpful, very thorough, and answered all questions. It was a good experience, it's a nice place. It's very clean, well updated, and the size of the rooms were nice. They accept pets, they have a beauty shop, and their activities director was really good; she had all kinds of things going. They have a big area where they can do activities and things.

My parents are in Brookdale Russellville. Part of the big advantage is that they know residents there. The facility itself is doing a good job. They’re extending their services to accommodate Mom and Dad’s specific needs. Each time there had been an additional challenge, we felt like the employees have responded well to it. I have eaten there several times this summer, and the food is fine. However, the one thing I would say about it is that it doesn’t strike me completely consistent as low-salt. I would love to be able to have a more restrictive diet as part of their program there, but that doesn’t seem to happen unless it is doctor-ordered, which they will automatically accommodate. They don’t seem to accommodate heart-healthy diets. The community is very close to the medical facility, which is a plus. They shuttle folks around, and it is about 1-minute drive to the clinic and to other medical facilities.

We considered putting my husband at Brookdale, but then we realized he wasn’t able to handle that. We did have lunch there, and the food was wonderful. The dining room was nice, too. The people were wonderful. They had a van to take people to town for grocery shopping and the mall. They had activities during the day. The rooms weren’t as nice as we would have liked, though.

Emeritus at Wildflower is very nice. The staff is very nice, and they were able to help me. The rooms are of a good size, and they are clean. The environment is very nice because it looked homey and inviting. There was a fireplace and a living room like area where residents could sit and talk. It is nice. I couldn't think of anything to improve the place. We are not to the point of putting our person in a facility just yet, but this would be a place that we'd consider.

My mom was there for two weeks at Emeritus and they took very good care of her. I liked the way it looked and that it was very clean and neat. The room is quite nice, it was like a little one bedroom apartment, it had a kitchen, a living room and it was furnished. They have a very different menu, a service for giving her medications and they did short term care which was what I was looking for since I went on a vacation. The people there were great and friendly. They had all kinds of activities, they went on outings, and they have exercise programs, art and card playing. Family and friends were able to visit mom so she didn't feel lonely.

Wildflower is a great choice for anyone considering an assisted living facility. I had a close personal friend that chose assisted living because it came him the security of knowing that he would have help when he needed it, yet still have plenty of freedom to enjoy going out into the community. After visiting and researching several facilities he chose Home Place because of the friendly staff and the nice rooms they have to offer. After moving in, he was very impressed with the wonderful meals that they offered. He was always bragging about the staff and how helpful they were while still allowing him to have his freedom. Every time I would visit, a member of the staff was always sitting with him listening to him reminisce and looking at pictures. While I'm sure they had heard the same stories and same pictures a hundred times, they were always so friendly and willing to listen and look one more time.
