"I had my surgery and St. Bernards HealthCare came out for two weeks for physical therapy. As far as physical therapy, they were really good. The people that came was really sweet and nice. They could have helped a little bit more with house work. The caregiver comes in 30 minutes to an hour a day, helped me take a shower and that's about it. I barely had time to get a bath and she'd go. There was no home cleaning or nothing like that. The caregiver was wonderful, she absolutely has a kind heart, very compassionate. She was just a sweet girl and she really care. She did try to do little things when she could if she had time like take out trash, or something like that. It wasn't that she was being lazy. It's just that she had a class she had to go to. I know she was trying to help more than she could have. "

"I have found a place for myself at St. Bernards Village in Jonesboro. I am in their independent living community, and it's really nice. It's a 1-bedroom apartment with a bathroom and a small kitchenette. I chose this one because it's near where my sister lives. I keep busy here. They have bingo and all kinds of things. On Thursday nights, they always have entertainment. They have a lot of things going on that you can attend. I have my own set of things, too. I have a sewing group that I established right outside my door because I have some tables out there. I have four or five girls coming on the first and third Wednesdays, and we sew. We're all quilters and sewers, so I keep pretty busy with that. The place is really nice. They really keep it up. On Thursdays, they come in and have a cleaning lady clean up my place. They vacuum and clean the bathrooms and the kitchens. Breakfast is free. We can go down and get biscuits and gravy, and eggs and bacon. We always have a nice big lunch starting at 11:30. If we don't want lunch, we can have dinner instead. There's enough food here that everybody has plenty. The staff is terrific. I have no problem with them whatsoever. We have a person for entertainment, and one who drives us to our doctor appointments and to the store twice a week. I wouldn't need to live anywhere else because it's great here. You can do what you want. You stay in your room or go out and have a lot of activities."

"When you walk into the lobby you are greeted by friendly warm staff ready to help however they can. The staff is well trained and is professional. They seem to really love what they do and that comes across then you speak with them and observed them. The patients were clean, bright and alert. Most of the patients who can move around were active and busy engaging one another or visiting with family and friends. Meal time was pleasant and the meals are prepared daily fresh with amazing healthy choices. The menu is well planned with options for alternative diets. The rooms are good size and you are welcome to bring your own touches.They are kept busy with Board games, Arts and Crafts, Chess, Bingo and outside programs brought in by civic and Religious organizations. The patients love having the programs come in. Staff encourages family and friends to visit as often as possible so the residents do not feel abandoned. The staff does an amazing wonder job with the patients and meeting their needs they exceed the states regulations. I would place my loved one here. "

"Ridgecrest Health and Rehabilitation was a beautiful new facility. What I liked least was they had a large turnover of CNAs and nurses. The building itself was clean, but my husband's room needed deep cleaning. I asked for it to be cleaned several times and it was never done. The wax is coming off the floor and the window sill was broken. It's just different things that weren't being repaired. There were a bunch of new people all the time who didn't know what they were doing, but that wasn't everybody. There were some really good people that worked there, but overall, generally speaking, there were a lot of people who didn't know what was going on. The food had a lot of mystery meat. It wouldn't necessarily taste bad, but you didn't know what it was. The building was very nice. The care declined and the price increased tremendously. We're sure we're not getting our money's worth."

"My dad was there 2 years ago for PT they were great to us then. We are now back after a UTI-hospital stay. He got there about 3:30 pm and everyone was super helpful to get him checked in and into clean-dry clothes and some dinner ( turkey-spaghetti was amazing ) From the CNA-nurses-PT-admin staff have been nothing short of GREAT. Super happy with everyone taking such good care of my 88 year old dad.. thanks a millon "

"I like that The Bungalows at Jonesboro has larger activity rooms. They have a lot going on and a lot of playing. The facility was very clean. They do the residents' laundry for them. They have an LPN on staff 24/7. They do lots of things for them, and everything's included. They do medical management. They're pricier than the other place, but they have more things available to the person living there. It's a one-story facility and every room has a patio off the back. They supply a microwave and a refrigerator. The staff during the tour was very organized and gave me a lot of information I needed. She knew her stuff and took extra time and went through a lot of things with us. The residents there said the food was good and nutritious. You have a menu that you can order from and they have an alternate menu if you don't want to order what they're having that day. They have them get up and get dressed and go down to the dining room to eat. They have juices and peanut butter crackers and little snacks for them in between."

"My husband is going to Craighead Nursing Center. He needs total care. I have chosen them because of their reputation. When we toured the facility, it was very clean and bright, and it had a lot of natural light to it. The personnel were very friendly. We spoke to many of the employees as we had our tour, and they were impressive. They're quite a bit cheaper than where he is now, where the level of care is not as good. The price of it too had a bearing. The staff who gave the tour was very informative. She answered all our questions. She even answered them before we asked them."

"My mother has been a resident here for 4 years. I don't believe the owners or workers could be anymore caring than they already are now. There has been a few problems over the years but every issue has been resolved quickly. They treat the residence there like family. They make the visitors feel so welcome and a part of the big family they have there. I feel the workers think of what they do as more than just a job and this really shows. The way they let you eat with your loved one is so special. plus the food has always been so good. I would say restaurant quality. I feel so blessed we found this place for our mom when we could no longer give her the care she needed. "

"I have always been extremely impressed with Greene Acres. My great-grandmother was a resident there, and she was always happy and taken care of. The nursing staff are friendly and patient with the residents, and everything is done right and on time. All meals, meds, and baths are done at the proper times, and the staff makes sure that there are also plenty of activities to keep the more able-bodied residents active and happy. The facility is also kept extremely clean, inside and out, and all of the staff are friendly and well-groomed. The residents are taken care of and checked on often, and the facility is also very safe and secure. All of the exit doors have keypads that require a specific password, and that password is changed throughout the day. There is also always someone stationed at the front desk so that nobody gets in or out without proper authorization. I think that it is nice to have facilities like this so that people can know that their loved ones are provided with the special attention that they need, and Green Acres does an excellent job of doing that. "

"My aunt is now in Green House Cottages Of Belle Meade. Right now, she is in long-term care. It's closer. We have other relatives who are residents there, and we just felt like that was a better choice for her. Their rooms and all of them were nice. It is mainly because she would know certain people there and for us, it's a more comfortable situation that other family members could visit her when they visited their family. All of the staff are very professional. Her welfare there is number 1. We have no complaints. It is a family-type situation where all the residents eat together and that kind of thing, but because of COVID, they discouraged the family members sitting at the table. It's not home, so she's not going to be 100% happy, but I'm not sure what they could do to improve that because she still wants to go home. They have bingo, card games, puzzles, and little exercise classes. They have a salon and a library."

"Belle Meade, A Rehabilitation and Guest Care Facility, was a new place. They have eight or nin different housing areas there and each one has a friendly atmosphere. They eat at a long table all together, and the food is served family style. The place is pretty good and very clean. The nursing staff is very good, but there was a time when they were kind of shorthanded. Other than that, we didn't have too much problems with them. In the house my wife is in, it has in-house rehabilitation. They have other houses for residents with Alzheimer's. Each room is private with its own private bath and restrooms, a TV, a wardrobe, a bed table, and a good bed. It is a very nice place."

"This is a brand new facility in Northeast Arkansas. The facility is architecturally beautiful with phenomenal furnishings and a very peaceful atmosphere. It is incredibly well maintained with a very warm and inviting feel upon entering. The staff make an effort to greet me by name and make me feel very comfortable. They are all very kind and professional. The food is above average in my opinion as well. Guests are always welcome and two formal dining rooms are available for families that want to come have a meal with a resident. On occasion, the food has left something to be desired, but on the whole, it is very well prepared with appropriate portions. Residents have access to lounge areas, exercise equipment, physical therapy if necessary and a chapel area as well as a range of other amenities. It is truly a phenomenal place for anyone that does not need to live at home any longer. "
